I thought Cass had long hair?

Edit; do we have our own forces as the Inquisitor?

She had long hair in the anime, but because they couldn't get the ponytail to look right ingame she was given short hair in DA2, and that carried over to DAI.

The inquisition will probably have its own army. We don't know if we can manage it.

I like that the helmets keep the eye motif.

I hope that scar means we'll be able to put scars on our own characters.

^Also, I thought Cassandra had black hair? Eh whatever. Not a big deal.

Hearts on her armor? Hmm :?

Screenshots look cool overall though.

I just realized you can see the hearts on her armor in that picture, as well. How did I not notice that before?

Hm.

The file name of the first screenshot in the OP is "E3_2013_Screen21.jpg".

Screen21?

Can we... um... see the previous twenty somewhere, perhaps? :-P

It looks likely.

The leaked survey implied the Inquisitor commanded armies, diplomats and spies to send across Thedas in order to uncover a hidden threat and the reasons for the veil breach.

If that's the inquisition armour I want a hide armour option as well as a hide helmet option.

There's also a symbol on the right: some kind of artefact in a hand, and some kind of birds on columns.

Why the hell are the arms of those heavy armored dudes completely without protection and left completely vulnerable? Bioware ***?  :pinched:

Bioware designers: armor is made to protect the wearer from injuries, not to look cool. One of the most important parts to protect were the hands and arms of the wearer, if your hand or arm is injured you cant wield your weapon anymore and you are defenseless. You want to avoid that at ALL costs.-
Do your homework *********.

Actually those aren't Seeker forces. Those are Inquisiton forces. See the symbol on their breastplate? Same as the Inquisition symbol:
Different than the Seeker symbol as it has the sword cutting through the eye.

Nice catch.

Guess that means Cassandra is joining the player as part of the Inquisition.

I'd say is likely. Though I want to point out that the symbol on her armour is different, expecially the eye, that has a different shape.

Just to confirm the seekers were originally part of the old inquisition alongside the templars which was broken up as a result of the Nevarran Accord. So yes her armour still is seeker armour but the sword being a symbol of templars is added for the inquisition symbol.

In other words Cass and her seekers most likely co-founder the new inquisition with the main character. So yes at this point Cass as a ally and squadie is practically confirmed. Plus bioware teaser trailers dont show characters this much if there not a squadie or key role.

Yeah, I think it's reasonably likely that Cassandra and the character who becomes the Inquisitior join forces at the start of the game after the cataclysmic event that's suggested to happen to the Chantry.

She brings one faction of the Seekers and significant contacts all over Thedas, so would be a pretty powerful ally to our character as they start to build up the power and influence of the Inquisition.

Armor meant to protect the wearer, haven't you played any of the many modern MMOs or the player created mods for Skyrim, armor is meant to reveal as much skin of the female character models as possible :D

There's been a hide helmet option since a DA:O patch. I'm not overly worried about the possibility of there not being one.
