Hopefully they dropped these ridiculous spiky armor from 2.

Theirs a reason our armies of today don't wear armor anymore.Bekkael wrote...
How do those guys see through those Seeker helmets? Makes them look a bit bird-like.

I swear to god that image is an actual helmet in the Infinity engine games.Bekkael wrote...
We actually made it to page 4 just from 2 screenshots. Speculation!
I really hope the bird helmet gets a bit of a remodel for appearance sake. Even this would be more appealing.
It looks like it would be heavy and wobbly on the head, but since the guy wearing it is guarding a tree... *shrug*

The last one is VERY interesting for people mad with helmets (enlarge)
I like this design a lot, they look like armored UK policemen with swords.SYNTHESIS

Nobody is wearing leg armor!? Beside Cass, I mean.
The dudes with the "police" helmet have big neckguards on their breastplate too. The general look make me think of Conquistadors.

Casandra isn't wearing leg armor either. She just has chainmail draped over her outer thighs.
Her pants are studded. You don't see it properly in that HQ screen though, you have to pause the trailer at the right spots to see them (it's black on red).

Hope Bioware goes for functional rather than flashy when it comes to these armors.
ALSO, why the arm mail sticking out in that weird angle?

One thing I'm really starting to dislike is all the unnecessary studs and weird spikes.

Nothing we've seen for Inquisition even approaches the level of unnecessarily spiky of DA][. I think the DA][ art team decided that smooth surfaces and understated designs were for sissies.

Dark Souls 2
It looks great
The good thing they had to look forward to when donning that armour was that their enemy would be just as blind as them. All they had to do was run towards the clanking noise of the enemy bumping into eachother as they was running towards the clanking noise of THEIR enemy. There would be a clash at some point, louder than the others, that's the signal (they ran into eachother finally) that they can start swinging the sword until there was silence again.
It begs a question though, who clanked first and set it all in motion. Egg or chicken.

I'm curious as to why a Seeker is leading Inquisition forces.
Seeker probably reform themselve as Inquistor. That explain why they got an army so fast.

The Seekers are a small order. They have no army. The Templars are their army, but why would Templars be given fancy new armors just because? Seems weird to me, especially since Templars would be needed to perform their customary duties during the rebellion more than ever.

I was under the impression Cassandra was the Chantry loyalist sect/group of Seekers who were going to become the Inquisition compared to the other Seekers walking out with Templars in tow.
It thought the templar seekers were the chantry seekers...
