The Raider is awesome, nobody will say it's bad.

Most prefer either the lolreegar, the Claymoar or the Wraith over it.

Being the least used shotgun doesn't mean a lot of people don't love the Raider.
By your logic the Avenger is the most loved weapon in the game seeing as it's the most used.

Try it with Adrenaline Rush. The most number of shots I ever got is 9.

The times when I get that phenonom, the extra shots didn't do any damage.   

Like for enemies that takes 2 shots to kill and if I get an extra shot , the extra shot didn't do any damage, I still had to use the third shot to finish them off.  

The ammo counter tells the same tale, when you reload after shooting the extra rounds, the ammo counter still shows you only spent 2 rounds.  

That's my experiences anyway and the extra rounds never did any extra damage for me.

I use it all the time and it has become my favorite shotgun, but I never ever see anybody use it.

The Raider on the Batarian Vanguard = 75 Shotgun kills medal guaranteed and then you have the 10 Melle kills and 10 Biotic kills as cherry's on top of  the cake... And this cake is NOT a lie.

Raider is awesome, it just stops being effective at over 15m or so. That means you need to have ranged powers or carry a ranged sidearm when you use the Raider. But that's really the only negative thing about it.
