Official game support is supplied by Electronic Arts here

To get help with technical issues for the PC please visit Official Support and check their existing questions & answers or request help.

This forum is for fans of Dragon Age: Origins to assist each other with technical questions. We have an excellent and helpful community, but remember Official game support is here.

Thanks Chris, but this doesn't really help any of us at all.

How about something like "we've identified a DLC issue with the game, and we're taking the necessary steps now to ensure EVERYONE gets what they've paid for."

At this point I'd take an honest admission that Bioware/EA is going to rectify this soon.

Well, I just paid R$ 140 for the CE, (about USD 80!!!) and I cannot download the game because the fraking EA Download Manager keeps giving me script error! Please, can someone help? There's no EA support whatsoever.. I hate EA... man, bioware do chose the worst publishers around.. Atari then EA.. argh...

Running on Win 7 ultimate 64 - 8GB RAM - over 600 GB free space

the message when trying to open the downloader:

Alert Box: Script Error

"An error has occurred in the script on this page:

Line 1

Char 125

Error: Object doesn't support this property or method

Code: 0

URL: file:///C:/Program%20Files%20(x86)/Electronic%20Arts/EADM/html/commandCenter.html

Do you want to continue running script in this page? Yes / No

No matter what, after each click another of this shows up! Please help? I run a top updated system but apparently something is missing...

 customersupport.ea.com

I cannot load this page, obviously I can buy the game but cant get support.
I tried to warn EQ/Bioware that I was cancelling an order because of monetary issues but without a phone number to contact customer support (email just didint  work did it?) I got sent 2 gameboxes and as far as i can tell only paid for 1 the other box is unopened (unopened shipping box too). I paid for content I expect it to be delivered just like Bioware will want its product back ....:alien::sick::crying:

Is that also where we must send bug reports, or can those just be posted on this forum?

You should add up as things are cleared to avoid multiple threads in the forums about the same issue all the time (people rarely bother to read if they have a problem themselves)...

Like i use steam and these are two issues ive gotten fixed fine:

Steam:

Preloaded game not running not decrypting:

It worked for me to simply restart my entire machine and steam (might work with just restarting steam). After the restart i simply clicked the preloaded game and it decrypted just fine (it did take 5 mins though!).

Downloadable content on steam w/ deluxe edition:

On steam you recieve 3 cd keys, These 3 keys are used in the following way:

Log on to these forums and register your game, over the register area there is an link named:

redeem your codes: Click this link and simply put in the codes followed by your purchase.

The 3 codes are used as follows:

The key explained as the game cdkey is used for registering your name.

the two others are redeemtion codes you use one at a time.

This will unlock the rewards in downloadable content inside your game.

I suggest making sure your firewall do not block the game from downloading. But all content downloaded nicely for me without the firewall block.

Well, here is the completely and totally worthless reply to my report about the video crashing on ATI cards.

Chris, or anyone at BioWare, is there any chance that you could light a fire under EA's butt to get them to look into this?

For all your DLC troubleshooting for  now you can check the thread I started... It all started because 2 friends of mine had NOTHING showing up in the 3 DLC tabs from within the game.

I posted it  here since I had used 2 hours to find the solution by talking to them on googletalk and it might help people here. Other people joined, more related issues popped up and here we are. I also just updated more stuff to the first post. Make sure to read the thread, lots of people got sent on the right track  by just checking it and shared their findinds, maybe their issue is close to yours? You never know!

Here's the link : http://social.biowar.../58/index/81613

I'm pretty sure the lack of comments on these issues from Bioware means they're patching the game so it doesn't do that in the future and / or making a tool to sort these issues quickly to the ones affected.

I didn't have any problems with my DLC. I'm 3 hours into the game and didn't get any issues with my bonus items yet (some people are reporting corruption and stuff later in the game, that's another issue entirely!)

Cheers Bioware for a nice game! The bonus items that pulled us in are a bit annoying tho...

Your support website appears to be down.

Tested on a couple of computers.

The irony runs deep.

Fix my damn User ID problems. Looking at my forum posts shall explain them.

I am getting tired of your ineptitude.
