OK i'm running this game on win XP sp3, and i have realtek onboard hd audio. When I totally disable sounds game runs great over 60+ fps, but when i enable it game runs very slow and stuttery.
This game obveusly has problem with Realtek onboard cards or realtek drivers, any idea what can i do eccept play without sounds.

Ever since the failed installation of the toolkit, I received a sql install error, when ever I play DA:O I'm dropped to the desktop for no reason, and with no error message.



This happens every 30 minutes or every 60 min.

I've since uninstalled the toolkit, but the problem persists.

Is the game just trying to tell me that I'm playing to much?

Awesome game, but...

I am crashing to desktop every 10-15 minutes of play. Tried the patches, updated all of my PC drivers, adjusted settings from super low-end to super high-end and everything in-between.

Crashes happen 95% of the time when a cut-scene or dialogue is about to start. Coincidence?



I have a P4 2.8 with 1GB of RAM, an Nvidia GeForce 7800GS, SB Audigy 2 platinum, windowsXP.



Any ideas out there?!

I cannot connect to the game servers it says that I have a login/password error even though I can login to this website. I also received an EA master account creation email but I cannot login to the EA website at all.

Well DAO not only messed with my computer , graphics glitches etc it also drank all the beer in my fridge, ate my last cheese and crackers and left crumbs ALL OVER my cd collection!



I tried changing the colour of my underware but it still refuses to load the woods (part of the grey warden joining quest) just says "unable to load area" and kicks me to mein menu, I realise it will all be resolved with a patch, hopefully before i catch it in bed with MY WIFE!

I've got Polish Version.

My game crashes 75% times when changing locations and my recent save files are also corrupted so when trying to load the game crashes again.

I've installed patch 1.01b - the situation is all the same.

Also I've experienced graphic bugs (textures, colors) from about Ilshan Tower.

I've searched and applied few proposed here solutions, without positive effect.

I am starting to be annoyed as I'm fan of Bioware's rpg games I expect help - and as I can see this is not only my problem. Please respond, or better fix the problems in incomming patches.

playing as dwarf rouge got through otegar, redcliffe,brec forest a few issues but genarally ok but no in town of den wot ever its called, save game ok but will not load game, just crashes back to desk top,saved multiple times at various positions with patch and without patch. really cheesed off now, good game but needs all issues sorting pronto.

running on fx 55, with with zotac geforce 260 gtx ,2 gig ram all latest drivers. get it sorted ea

You're cpu is below minimum spec, and your ram is right at the minimum, that might be part of the problem.

I can't believe that I had to go into the forum to find the link to the "offical support" page for the game.

It is a fantastic game, but I have sadened by the fact the the offical game web page for the game hides anything but the support. The game is released now. It is time to focus on customers that have actually both the game and not the twitter this, blog that and flash game.. it is actually not interesting!!!!!!!!!! I dont care about DA in flash. I dont care about dragon age twitter, on you tube I care about the content of the game. Eish...... frustration.

have steam version of dragon age, now with patch 1.01a can't start game, during black screen get error, how long I have to wait for steam to update to 1.01b to fix runtime issue so I can play game!!!

Right will anyone be able to help me out here?! No matter what I try to

do I have the same two problems each time I run the game;







1)

a hardly noticeable problem, whenever I hit tab to highlight for names

etc everyone and everything besides myself has a bizarre name such as

'bhf_10001_mother'!







2) the big one! When i enter a

conversation with someone I can here them speak but it just keeps

running through their diolog without giving me the chance or choice to

reply!







As you can imagine this is DAMN irritating as, of

what I have played, I already love this game but I aint got a clue what

going on because of the lack of communication!



I have tried playing the game both with and without the patch.... didnt work



I have reinstalled the game FOUR F*****G TIMES...... still didnt work

I am getting more and more frustrated!!! My game allows me to reach the throne room and after killing off everyone, I go into conversation. Then my system powers off!!! This is obviously in the game as this does not occur running other games or applications. I have an Intel D 2.8 GHz processor, 1Gb RAM and an Nvidia GeForce 7300 GT card. I have loaded the 1.01 patch and updated all my drivers but I still power down in the throne room.



Someone please help me!!!! I love the game, but if I only get 15 minutes playing time, I'm outa here!!! I will return the game and never buy EA again!! I also will relate what a piece of trash this game is and never do anything but run it AND EA down to everyomne I meet or talk to about gaming.

Hi,
Just going through the "Broken Circle" and have taken Shale in with me.
I have all other party members out of their various Nightmares except for Shale. When I get into his nightmare, I can't get passed a demon statue which blocks most of the path to Shale.
My character just ends up running on the spot for awhile.
Anyone know of a way around this problem?
