You cannot be serious. There is absolutely no help on that EA page.

1. you cannot register a game.

2. there is no way to supply a question

3. the easyinfo tool has no dragon age on its list

EA support is useless. I am shocked and troubled that BioWare has partnered with such a purposely inept entity.

all of the help topics were completely useless, stellar job with CS guys. a number of us are still waiting for aid to CONNECT to the friggin server in game.  This would be a huge issue with any other game but it seems like you guys dont want to talk or help us with it.

I just downloaded and installed the patch and now I'm stuck at the launcher screen since clicking Play doesn't do anything. Retail version.

I can't start the game.. I click the button, and it seems to check something on the configuration and then half way along, i get the windows meesage it has ceased working i've shut all background down, installed latest drivers, re-installed twice, and running out of ideas.. please someone

For those who got hosed by the patch: i saw that a microsoft .net upgrade helps.

I happened to have the newest, so the patch didn't screw me.

Didn't help either.

after 3 days of constantly updating, ugrading, downgrading, downloading, uninstalling, reinstalling, adjusting, and essentially tearing my computer to pieces, I am still stuck in the same place as I stated. Freeze on click 'new game'. Now, I'm giving Bioware the benefit of the doubt and waiting until the 10th, just in case they provide a fix, before I send my copy back to EA for a refund. This is despicable, bioware. Despicable.

i phoned ea support in my country, ´cause the game don´t run (with physx problem, you know), and they told me, after 4 calls, to buy another pc, because my nvidia isn´t good enough!!!! You know, i have a Geforce 9600M GT, with 512MB.

First, download and install these: http://www.microsoft...en#Requirements

only one should work with whatever OS you're using (the x86 is for 32-bit).

Then, apply patch. It should work fine.


i did that update and was able to get into the game again

HELP! After 4 years of waiting to play DAO-Cannot install.
After inserting the Collector's Edition disc- ERROR reads:
error switch  from current encoding to specified encoding not supported.
Line 1, Column 40 in XML setting.

Running:
Vista 64 bit Quad core
Nvidia GeForce 9800 GT
4.00 GB Ram

Can anyone please help resolve this problem?

I recently downloaded the Toolset like 2 hours ago. I messed around with it for a bit just playing with the cutscene editor I didn't even really do much. I went back in to play the single player campaign like normal and loaded my game. Now anytime I try to leave the zone I'm in (Redcliffe). I click on gather party and venture forth and it won't take me out of the zone. It does nothing. I'm basically stuck in Redcliffe and I can't do anything either except run around in the zone.

Anyone now anything about this problem?

hey there... I was just wondering if any1 has problems puting on dragon amour! i have 35 strenght without additional stats by iteams. but it comes up red that i need 35 strength... do i have to somehow choose a spec templar etc to use  this amour? any idea ppl.?? thanks

I believe the strength requirements for armor only look at the basic strength attribute you have and not the total strength you have including bonuses.
