then follow instruction 3.2.2. in the below link.

I'm stuck in Ostagar, I have the 3 vials of demon blood and the scrolls for the quest needed, but it won't let me turn it in, just keeps saying i haven't collected them yet, also it won't let me level up past 4 on any character. I've reinstalled 2 times, and started a new file and still its the same thing, help?

On the downloadable content page, what does it mean if the version required is red? Does that mean I have the wrong version?

Opermeus: If it (the disc) worked in another computer, then it looks like its an issue with your DVD drive. Does the "other computer" meet the minimum specs? Also, did you apply the latest patch and DLC is short for "D"own"l"oadable "C"ontent. There's other quests & items you can buy from BioWare to add to the game.

eviljoeybob: Have you installed the latest patch when you installed the game? What's your computer configuration like?

Skyintheeye: I dunno, wish I could be of more help...

I did apply the latest patch, everything is still blank, and I'm pretty sure the comp meets the specs because it ran world of warcraft quite well among other things, and I think the game runs a check on your software during the intallation so I would have been alerted had it been the case.... this is pissing me off lol

I've installed the game twice and tried to play. Both times I've gotten the same error:

"Runtime error

Abnormal program termination"

I'm running the game on a 2.33 Core 2 Duo Macbook Pro with Snow Leopard via Parallels. Any ideas or suggestions? I REALLY want to play this game...

What the bloody hell is with all the blue screens and crashes to desktop? I've heard other players complain about it, so it's not just my computer. When are you going to fix it ffs?

Yoiu cannot compare a regular 3D game to any MMO.  They make far different levels of demands on hardware.  You can't make assumptions about PC hardware, you have to know that your machine really passes muster.  Now, look at this next question, and the answer to it.

That symptom, so far, to my knowledge, has been seen only on very, VERY old PCs with the really awful old nVIDIA Geforce FX video cards in them.  If you have such a system, it's almost certainly too old to waste time and money upgrading it, or trying to run any current games on it (MMOs are low-demand, compared to regular games).

Ok seriously does anyone know how to fix this? Dragon Age keeps crashing and/or blue screening my computer. So far, I've had 6 blue sods.

Please, someone help. I can't play anymore, it just crashes so much, I fear that my comp might decide to fry itself. And yes, I checked and it's not just on my computer, my mates have the same problems too.

Preliminary diagnostic information

PCs are not *anything* at all like game console systems.  There is almost nothing that is truly "standard" between various branded PCs, making the game developers' jobs very difficult, and requiring that warning labels be attached to game boxes for those games that have serious requirements.

In case you have misunderstood how to evaluate your PC compared to that game box label, we have to start from here.  Fill it all in.

Basic Hardware Specification Chart (Empty so far)

Processor Manufacturer: AMD / Intel
Processor Name / Type: Athlon 64 / Pentium / C2D / dual core / quad, etc.
Processor Speed:  ?.? Ghz (or AMD Performance Number)
Operating System / Service Pack: WindowsXP with SP #?, Win7, Vista ? (Oh, no!)
System RAM: ? ? GBs (MBs, if less than 1024)
Video (GPU) Manufacturer: ATI / Nvidia (only those two are supported, PERIOD)
Video Card Model: (examples) Radeon HD 3650 / Geforce 8600 GT
Video Card Driver Version: Catalyst ?.? / Nforce ??.??
. . (use the numbers, not the word "latest")
Video Card onboard RAM: ? ? ? MBs
Sound Card Manufacturer:
Sound Card Model:

That response and request for diagnostic information was posted less than twenty minutes after Prophet's complaint. The only reason I can think of for him / her not responding is the bold-faced section, about the game having a minimum requirement for a real video card, just like any other non-MMO 3D game.

Right here:

http://social.biowar...age/da-patches  social.bioware.com/page/da-patches

Since I never let the game log itself in, I have to go there to get them.

You can do the same.

I am still having problems with my game crashing after 15 minutes of playing. My computer will actually shut off. Is there a solution for this?

You've offered no usable information, so no one can even take a guess.

You are aware that after the download process ends, the file is inactive unless or until you activate it?

I've just reached the Wyrmling lair, but when I try to enter the instance, the game stops responding. It sticks at the loading screen, then when I ctrl alt del game says it is no longer responding. Has anyone else encountered this problem? This is the first time I've had any technical issues with the game so guessing it's a bug of some description? Any ideas what I can do?

I recently reached Denerim, and for some strange reason after exploring the area a little bit my mouse pointer freaked out. It didn't disappear, but it twitches violently in place and is hard to look at. On top of that, strange graphical glitches occur now as well, for instance when I open doors, they turn bright white, as well as the weapons on corpses when I loot them. I may be nitpicking, but this annoys me greatly, to the extent where it becomes difficult to continue playing the game.
