its not my computer my computer is good

and the video drives update all the time

It looks to me as though you need to think more about what you are writing right there, and this article was written to help you do that:

I've got a big problem, i purchased the collector's edition of dragon age and tried to download the dlc before i registered the game if i try to download it now it says that the code has already been redeemed, what should i do?

You can't do anything to change the nature of a far too-old and obsolete video card other than to replace it.  Period.

I just bought Dragon Age Origins for my pc and when I try to install it I get a message saying that there is a error. My computer is brand new and everything on it is well above the minimum specs. Does anybody know how to fix this?

First Character: Chantry in Lothering crash and from there on no savegame works anymore, it just crashes.



Second Character: New Installed, new character, Lothering again, this time I get a crash in the tavern and now it crashes with all the saves again.



What the hell is going on? I'd like to see past Lothering once and dont tell me to update my drivers, it cant be that the game is running flawless until some pint, crashes there and is broken from there on.



Someone has also recommended me to use a crack (although I have the retail version and BOUGHT the game) so that the the DRM gets ignored. but I am not yet ready to take such measures. I'm just a little pissed off that Bioware didnt take additional 2 months of developent and testing before releasing it for christmas...

I update from v1.0 to 1.02a, and then the game won't play. I've reinstalled and repatched several times, and nothing is working. The launcher opens, and then nothing happens when I click the "Play" button. When I try to open the actual daorigins.exe from the program file, I get this message:

The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log for more details.

how do you get the content back IE stone warrior etc after hard drive dies is replaced and game reloaded.I've downloaded all content up to return to ostagar and now it does not show in game after being reloaded tho shows in my profile as having been down loaded

This isn't really a problem, but I'd like an answer anyhow:
When I take a screenshot in-game, it saves it as a .jpg in the My Documents/Bioware/DA folder. However, I want better quality screenshots, which means I want it saved as a .png. What do I have to modify in the Bioware/Dragon Age folder so all screenshots, when taken in-game, are saved as .png files?
Apparently for another BioWare game you can just go to the .ini file in the game folder and modify the format there, but the screenshot file type is not there for DA.

dragon age origins has encountered a problem and needs to close. this keeps happening about 10minutes into the game, and i dunno why. my drivers are all up to date and such. this never happened to me before when i had my friends copy installed on my pc, but i bought the steam version yesterday and ever since its given me problems.

I downloaded the Blood Dragon Armor and lost it when, in the Dwarf Noble Origin Story, I was stripped of all of my items and cast out into the Deep Roads. How do I get it back? Please help.

i bought yesterday dragon age deluxe edition and install but in game couldnt download dlc then i do redeem code then dlcs appeared and i setup then but when setup finish always says installition failed then now i deleted dragon age and setup again but now i cant do redeem code and cant see dlcs too please help....(i buy game on steam)

same thing happened to me, but the dlc came back after about a day. I had to run the install about 3 times for each of them before it worked. Then again, I didn't unintstall dragon age.



Has anyone experienced severe framerate issues at the exterior courtyard of the tower of ishal. The first time I went through, it worked fine, same for next char too. But now on my 3rd char, the framerate slows down so much I can't even get into the tower.

You have the same problem than almost all PC user have, the game make the cpu litterally burn. Look at the temperature of your cpu when playing the game (i am using speedfan program) and you will see when u are playing, almost everything burn. When you press ctrl+alt+del, the cpu usage is always at 100%. We are still waiting for a patch for this problem. I hope they will fix that. I have broken my other cpu because of a problem like this. The plastic part who hold the fan on the video card just become liquid and the fan fall from the card

This is fixed in Patch 1.02, but if you don't want to redo the origin, what you need to do is go to Disable the Blood Dragon Armor DLC, Force load your save without the DLC, make a new save, enable the DLC again, and then load the new save.  This procedure will work with most of the DLC items.

To Disable the DLC go to the Main Game Menu, select Downloadable Content, click to the Installed Content Tab, click on the checkmark next to the Blood Dragon Armor DLC to clear it.  To enable it go back and click on the empty box to get the checkmark back.

Well... and I suppose anybody found the solution to the famous DAContentUpdater won't start issue...



And, as my previous character suddenly sttoped from uploading the data, now I have my first character just in level 10, and with that character I finshed the game (the only one in my profile cause the second one never uploaded anything) . And I think I can't upload the first character data because I started another game, isn't it?

I have a problem with the DA-Updater. When I'm booting up the game I get an error message from Windows saying that the DAUpdater no longer works and is shut down. And when I run this service manually I get an error message saying ''Error 1053''. Plus, I can't even download my DLC, I already redeemed the codes.



On the forum I couldn't find something similar to my problem, running the DAUpdater manually I got from the forum though.
