I update from v1.0 to 1.02a, and then the game won't play. I've reinstalled and repatched several times, and nothing is working. The launcher opens, and then nothing happens when I click the "Play" button. When I try to open the actual daorigins.exe from the program file, I get this message:

Wait until it is actually available, whenever that turns out to be. There's been an unfortunate delay, that hasn't quite trickled all of the way through all of the various places that the previous "Holiday Season" and / or January 5th references still exist in.senseidj wrote...

Please read both the very first message (Chris Priestley's) in this thread, and the sub-heading description. We in here are other gamers only, and you are asking about a web site problem, not a game problem. There is a separate Help Forum for web site problems (the DLC distribution is a web site problem), and in there sometimes, there is an actual visit from real Bioware employees!

OK, you are upset, but you are here where just other gamers read what you have written. Electronic Arts is handling the support, not a bunch of fellow game players trying to assist one another. Look at the very first message that Chris wrote and click on the links that take you to EA.
