any one can help me with this PhysXLoader.dll
the electrecity shutdown sudenly while i'm plaing the game and i lost this file PhysXLoader.dll, every time when i start  the game to play it show error msg says the application could'nt start because the PhysXLoader.dll not found...

I am at my wits end! This game must have been programmed by a bunch of school children! You no sooner get one problem fixed and another one pops up. I have updated EVERY driver on my system and downloaded and installed patch 1.02a and the game still crashes ALL the time. Now either Bioware and/or EA make this game playable or I want my money back! I have had enough of this CRAP! I am going to wait 2 days and if there is not a patch that stops this problem, I am going to send complaints to my State Attorney General, the Better Business Bureau, and the Federal Trade Commission!

Whoa, there, pilgrim! There's no one here to rant and rail at but other gamers, plus Chris, and he's just Community Coordinator, not an owner, like EA. Visit the page that he named in the very topmost message of this thread to blow your stack at. Not here. You're just wasting space that could be used by someone looking to other gamers for some advice.

P. S.  Has the response time here gone into the toilet, literally, for others at about 1:00 PM, CST?  The General Subjects Forum has already taken 6-7 minutes without refreshing, nor has it timed out . .

I was wondering why return to ostagar isn't out for the PC. That or it isn't showing up on my available DLC but I have on my x box 360. I tried looking around to about it.

It is entirely possible that you just can't see the correctly displayed page.  The entire web site is totally screwed up, and has been all day, practically. 

RtO / PC was supposed to finally be available at some point today, and the Xbox360 DLC is readily available.  But it's a Saturday Morning Cartoon Show's circus of foolishness that the web site is displaying, instead of what it should be!  The odds that my reply will actually be properly saved and attached to the thread seem ti be very poor right now, in fact!

thread and wrote a new one saying that the 360 version contains errors
and is being withdrawn.  There was no new word about either the PC
version, or the PS3 version!.

I don't know if anyone else has any problems, but since I've installed this patch, about 5 minutes into playing the game, Dragon Age: Origins gets VERY jumpy. It's framerate is about .5/second. No matter how I change the video settings it still does this. Does anyone know how to un-install a patch? I'd hate to have to re-install the game...again. I'm trying Re-installing it and playing it without patches, just to make sure it's not a problem with my computer, instead of the game, but I've had this problem on both Windows Visa and 7 on the same computer.(Yes, I have two OS's, different partitions of the same Drive) Alright, I'm still having the problem, even unpatched, so it must be SOMETHING on my computer. I just don't know what.

Hi. I have been looking on the website for help but either cant find it or overlooked it. After I download DAO and went to play the game, no letters appeared. Therefore I have no idea what im clicking on or anything like that. I uninstalled/reinstalled it and it is still occuring. I updated my video driver and that didnt fix the problem either. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Please turn the game box over and look at the minimum video card requirement. Compare that to what you actually have, and report back here what it is.

how come it won't let me download any mods. it says something about can't find DA updater. if anyone knows how to solve this problem please tell me. i tried using the help search engine here but that did not do me any good.

Thunderstar, when you download them just save them to your harddrive, don't open them via the browser. If in the download process the .dazip file got renamed to .zip, rename it back to .dazip. Then find the bin_ship/daupdater.exe program in your Dragon Age Installation path and open that appliation. Drag the .dazip files you found onto the open daupdater application and then install them.

If you are stateside, or Canadian, here is the Newegg replacement you need:

everytime I try to start the game it says: "Failed to detect a supported video card." but I know i have a supported video card.

Start by telling us what video device it is that the game doesn't like.  There is a real minimum limit, you know!
