I have a redeem code for the following DLCs:
The Stone Prisoner Dragon Age: Origins PC/Mac ---
Amulet of the War Mage Dragon Age: Origins PC/Mac ---
Embri's Many Pockets Dragon Age: Origins PC/Mac ---
 
But as you can see, in my folder they are marked like i haven't redeemed them. But! Mark "Unauthorized" In game appears only near "Stone prisoner".

They were marked as registered earlier! 

And it makes me very saaaaaaaaaaad panda=(

I dont have the following content.

So my question is:
Have I been cheated / Is this not included?

Psycho Drake,



Of those, only The Stone Prisoner requires authorization. In order for the content to be authorized the Dragon Age Origins Content Updater Service needs to be running. It its supposed to start when the game launches, but sometimes its to slow and the game goes to check authorization before it is running. You can try the Manual Start method I mentioned in my earlier post to see if that helps.



You might also find the beta fix for the Content Updater to be helpful in resolving your issues.

Its unclear from your message whether the problem is on the redeeming end or the downloading end.

Check the Registered Game Promotions Page.  If the code has been successfully redeemed than the content will be listed there.  If the code doesn't work, either contact the retailer where you purchased the game, or EA Support, to get a working code.

If the content has been redeemed, but won't download see the Redeemed DLC Troubleshooting FAQ for solutions to common problems getting the downloads to work.

Problem fixt, had to do these steps

1. In Windows, Press start

2. Run "services.msc"

3. Find and start "Dragon Age: Origins - Content Updater"

4. Restart game

It seems, that in my case, the problem is on the server side.

I've been playing the game since release with few problems. Approx. 400 hours! My system is sound and all drivers are always updated. Everything has been fine until last week. I have looked for this error in the forum and have not seen it anywhere.



Launch menu comes up but clicking play results in error:



AWC.dll

The game cannot launch because of misconfiguration. Please reinstall your game and try again.



I have completely uninstalled and reinstalled several times with same result. At first I uninstalled saving character, but have since tried with full uninstall, removing all directories, files, and registry entries. I have made no other changes to my PC hardware or software in the interim.



Running Windows XP SP3 on

AMD Phenom 9950 Quad core w/ 4Gb RAM

Dual NVidia GeForce 9600 GT

i have shale and wardens keep but it is not giving me the option to dl RtO or the dragonblood armor ... where should i be looking?

For the Blood Dragon Armor, did you redeem the code for it?  If you bought a boxed copy it should be on the opposite side of the card with Shale. Successfully redeemed codes will show on the Registered Game Promotions Page.  Once its redeemed it should download automatically.

As for Return to Ostagar, it should eventually show up as Available under Downloadable Content from the Game's Main Menu.

sorry another noob question.... how do i upload a charecter so i can get this ring? (obviously i just go the game played through most of it and now i'm trying to get all the dlc in one shot... i got shale the armor the keep and RtO dled the toolset the character gen and the 1.02 patch just need this ring...)

I finished my first playthrough and am thinking about getting a better pc for a second playthrough (my current one meets the minimum requirements). As the cd key was already used for the first registration, will i be able to install dragon age on a new computer? Any info on this will be much appreciated.

Yes, you should be able to install on a new computer. You will however have to login to your current account that has whatever DLCs you purchased.

I bought the collectors edition of the game and came with the blood armor, shale and item codes, shale and the itens worked fine, but when i put the blood armor code it said that i unlocked the wardens keep, not the blood armor. In the game appears that the wardens keep is instaled, but no sign of the blood armor, neither to buy nor that is installed. Yes, I've put the right code, trying again just say that its is already used. Someone know what I should do to have the blood armor?

Sounds like you got a code that wasn't hooked up to the correct DLC.  You'll likely have to contact EA Support to get them to add the Blood Dragon Armor to your account.

I've bought the return to ostagar DLC, but now the game says that I cant play it because it needs to be updated to a newer version (am running 1.0). But where can I find an update? Cant find 1 on the EA site, or Bioware site. And the menu in my game does not have an update option?

I've only been playing for acouple days and the game has been running fine, but i started a new charecter yesterday and in ostagar and in the woods outside of it the trees are now glitching. they just keep flashing, i mean i can still play the game with no problem and i loaded up my other charecter that had gotten to the first town and the trees are fine, no blinking, i tried everything to make them stop blinking but no good. Turning up my settings on video to high seams to help a little but only really with the trees right by my charecters, all the other trees still blink in and out.

PC dies - DLC gone...



I have DLC of Blood Dragon Armor and the Stone Prisoner. About 70hrs into my second game, my PC died. I can still get at some contents on my hard disk (got my save games) but the PC was not usable.



I bought a new PC and installed DA:O on it. When I logged back into the network, I couldn't get the DLC restored to my new PC.



Do I need to pull files off of the old Hard Disk (ala the Saves) and put on the new PC? Something else?



I'd really hate to lose items and Shale...

I had the same problem  with the patch
I uninstalled and reinstalled DA then installed 1.02 patch with no problem
able to play RtO after that

Aww I still got the same problem and im really desperate 'cause I bought this just 1 week ago!



My game shuts down all the time! (and sometimes my computer goes blue-screen and then reboots)

I guess it is because I dont have the latest drivers for some parts in my computer but I do have the latest driver for my graphic card (Geforce 9600 GT) and my processor (AMD Dualcore 64 athlon 5600+, 2900mhz).



What could be the reason for my game just to die like that? Memory problem? Then what kind of memory problem...? I would really appreciate if you could help me with this!

Not really happy, paid for Return to O..., and it tells me I have to have V1.02. However when I go to the page with the download it's telling me that the address is not right, the tab says HTTP is a bad request. Ummm.... HELP!

Does anyone know why I could not name my Mambari Hound? I am a human Noble warrior and after I killed all of the giant rodents infesting the larder I simply could not name my hound. Could it have to do with an addon, or has it happened to others and it is a bug that needs to be fixed? I am grateful for any feedback on this issue =)

This is a known conflict with some mods, particularly ones that change starting stats.
