Did you read Chris' stickied message t all? It's the one that started this thread! Who does he say is responsible for support, and who is represented in HERE?BaldBarberOriginal wrote...
So if this is the Official Dragon Age: Origins PC Game support then will I get some help?

my code makes that apear the download but the link not apears there . i cant download the stone prisioner and with the blood dragon armor its the same thing
Once you have entered the code, it should automatically download when you log into Dragon Age with the email address and password associated with the account you redeemed the codes on.
There are enough problems with the automatic downloads that there is a whole FAQ with solutions to common problems getting DLC downloaded and installed. Go through the FAQ and see if there is anything there that helps with your problem.

The game won't recognise I'm connected to the internet, although I am (wireless). It used to work before, but now it just doesn't.
I already bought DLC but can't d/l it. If anyone can help me I'd be grateful.

A BETTER FIX
for Dragon Age Origins "A data error occurred" Install problems
=====================================================
just getting the info out there. you can probably adapt these instructions to any shared computer than your own (not just linux). the gist is:
a) identify the corrupt rars. (probably core.rar, textures.rar, and env.rar, but yours may be different)
c) rebuild the corrupt rars in place (without doing anything else to the files)
d) update the manifest file to take your rebuilt files
e) install the game over the network
DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS
=====================================================
1) copy all dvd files over to linux drive (these instructions are for linux, but i bet it would work on a shared windows computer with a copy of winrar or 7zip etc too.. just read and see if it makes sense)
2) get rar if you need it
$ sudo apt-get install rar
3) rebuild all suspect rars in /data folder (heck you could really do all of them)
$ rar r core.rar
$ rar r textures.rar
$ rar r env.rar
4) copy the rebuilt files back over your originals
$ mv rebuilt.core.rar core.rar
$ mv rebuilt.textures.rar textures.rar
$ mv rebuilt.env.rar env.rar
5) now update the manifest file to accept your new slightly different file sizes (any text editor will work, here i use emacs)
$ emacs installmanifest_en.ini
6) under every [File ##] that you changed, remove the "Size=##########" line completely. i did every file for good measure (not just the ones i changed) and it didn't hurt anything. the installer will take any file now.
7) now, back in Windows, browse to the Linux share and run Setup.exe, which will install it over the network with the better files.
It should now install!
The benefit of doing it this way (instead of manually extracting the RARs) is you can officially patch it because it's installed properly.

Installed the game yesterday on my D drive, which still has 100 GB left of free space, but everytime I try to launch the game, I seem to receive this message-"Dragon Age: Origins has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
If you were in the middle of something, the information you were working on might be lost.
Please tell Microsoft about this problem.
We have created an error report that you can send to us. We will treat this report as confidential and anonymous."
-so it won't launch. Anyone else had this problem?
I've added firewall exceptions, cleared my cache, canceled out other windows, and it still gives me the same problem. Sometimes if I click the launch enough, it'll finally start, but that can take from two minutes to ten minutes and this error is really bugging me.
I have Windows XP and like I said, plenty of space on my drive, so does anyone have a recommendation for how I can fix this?

nVIDIA has more bad than good drivers when it comes to this game, so whatever you used before, go back to those.Samurro wrote...

I don't see the point in this, why should I accecpt less frames in newer games because the drivers conflict with DA now? I am not even sure it is a driver problem, still they didn't fix the 80% CTD when you alt + tab....but they are working on the Addon, GREAT! Not buying it for sure ...
Whats up with the connection failed ****? I bet the problem lies within this..

PS If a company does not have adequate support facilities, perhaps sending all of our games back to the might make an impression. Can't even run Mass Effect 2, and that support ticket is dated the day the game was released.

I have downloaded the return to Ostagar, but the game will not run it. even after running the 1.01b patch, the dlc says the game does not meet the requirements. I've sent an email through the support system over a week ago but have heard nothing back. Does anyone have a workaround for this problem. Thanks

Return to Ostagar requires the Latest Patch, which is 1.02. You can get it at http://social.biowar...page/da-patches

i've bought all expansions available for dragon age origins, but one doesn't work: the stone prisoner.
the mission starts with getting the rod of control for the golem, but on map doesn't appear the village of honnleath. WHY?
does anyone has my same problem?
thanks in advance

Sounds like what happened to me. I reinstalled everything and it seems to work now. After patching to 1.02 everything seemed alright until I tried to gather my party at camp. I reinstalled everything and applied the patch manually and everything seems to be working fine.
Hope this helps.
