I am having some trouble. I just bought DA:O and installed it. So far the game itself runs fine but I can't access the online servers for some reason. I created both a Bioware network and EA account, but whenever I try to log on in the game it connects, gives the me the service agrrement (which I agree to) and then it tells me my password was incorrect and logs me off. It does this EVERY TIME! I can't connect to my online profile in-game to get my DLC and yes I have triple checked and I KNOW that I am typing in the right password because when I type in the wrong password it doesn't even attempt to connect. I can't find any trouble shooting help on any of the sites so can someone help please.
My system is Win 7 64-bit, intel i9 processor, and at least 8 GB of RAM.
Also, my Bioware account says I don't have game info uploaded for DA:O, if this is the problem how do I upload the game data if not through the game servers themselves? Please someone help.

I have a really annoying problem. Downloaded Wardens Keep and Return to Ostagar today. Haven't played for a while so had to download patch 1,03.
Problem is that "Return.." demands patch 1.02. Despite me already installing 1.03. Anyone else encounter this?
RtO should work with 1.03. Right after installing Patch 1.03 I redownloaded all my DLC and RtO worked just fine. However the in game error messaging is just a little vague, and there's probably some other installation problem and it just makes it seem like its the version.
Try clearing the Download Cache. From the launcher, click Configure, then go to Repair and click "Clear Download Cache".
Then delete My Documents\\\\Bioware\\\\Dragon Age\\\\Settings\\\\Manifest.xml
If that doesn't get things working, try manually downloading and installing RtO (links and instructions in Section 4 of the Redeemed DLC Troublehshooting FAQ. Even if the manual install fails, it gives better error messages.
I'm having the same problem. None of those solutions worked. I finally just got frustrated enough to uninstall the game and start from scratch.

Add me to the list, had been playing DA:O again to get another char through before Awakening, was on 1.02, no problem. Got Awakening, it installed 1.03, cant play for more than 10min without it crashing. Am running Vista 64.

It doesn't say ANYTHING when installing, but soon I try to play the expansion, "Misconfiguration! Re-Install DA:O And Awakening". WTH, Bioware! I have digital deluxe (PC) and Awakening on disc, don't they match? What the *beep* is wrong? I really don't wanna download DA:O for another 5-9 HOURS!
Seriously, I havn't played it once, and it begins to epic fail right away! Good work Bioware, really good work!

I have DA:O on disc, just got home with my copy of DA:A and went to install it and a little screen pops up and says, "dragon age origins must be installed in order to install this disc. Please install and try again."
Uh...yeah. Been playing it for months now, it's there, all there..I'm signed in and everything. Yet the Awakenings disc swears it isn't. Any ideas (other than throiwing my computer out the window) ? I am uber frustrated! Oh, and I have Vista 64 on a top of the line computer, both games are disc forms..can't figure out why there's this hang up.

Would anyone be able to give me a rough indication on if i can run the game?

Awakening needs patch 1.03. When I try to install this patch, it says that Dragon Age: Origins wasn't found and tells me to reinstall DA:O and try again. How to solve this? Thanks in advance!

Based on past users' commrents, you should be able to run at moderate fps rates when at 1024 by 768 (no less than 14, I don't think), and seldom better than 35 or 40, which for most people is pretty good, at least. The 800 by 600 screens would be half again better, I think I've seen described, say 25 fps in the busy places, and up to 50 elsewhere -- if that coarseness level is visually acceptable.generalkorn12 wrote...

Thanks alot.
No one I've built a PC for asked for an 8400 (and I probably would've made a vile comment if anyone had done so), leaving the Geforce FXes from several years ago, and the Geforce 6600, as the worst cards I've ever seen in use. Over the last five years, I suppose that I have built 40-50 systems. I mostly build for myself, friends, and family, and not for profit. When I see a product such as the Radeon HD 4670 selling at the prices it's been going for, with a really good performance, that's what I steer everyone toward. Over half of all the cards bought and installed the past year under my supervision have been that one.

"The development team is aware of the problem and has not announced plans
to fix this issue. We have no information that indicates they will. " ~~ Quote from the technical support answer I got from EA.
So, if you bought the PC version of the expansion and there is no combat AI, you wasted $30-$40.

If I buy and download a digital version (not Stream) - will it install and work properly?

Does anyone from Bioware with any sense even read these forums? I know that they have lost 3 sales as a direct result of me telling my friends not to buy this game. Yet somehow they will still play the game. Guess they must all come over to my place and log in to my system, right?
