even though i hated DAO, be realistic: this game is far outside of its budgeted support timeframe. you need to be in general and custom computing forums like tom's hardware, liquidninjas, etc. EA/BW can't have every possible configuration to run these specific tests on even if they still had a full team devoted to patching.[/quote
you wrote those sites and could you tell me where to go ask for help then? Which site you recommend? Also eng isin't my native language but i think i'll manage. Asking help from customer support is like asking some 5year old about space science both are evenly useful. Ridiculous how they dont have proper way to gather information to fix the game and leave people who bought the game fix it themself. Never have i been this mad off pc gaming and when they show pics off DAO 2 makes me even more angry.

bioware seems to be too busy making dlcs and DAO 2 to give **** about DAO 1. If you cant play DAO now i'm pretty sure you wont get to. If its in bioware's hands. Think about what 1.03 made for some people and how bad 1.04 (if they even makes it) will mess this game. i hope someone makes law suit for biware and brings em down.
I hope, for you and your children's sake, that you are joking with this post.

I need some technical support and the advanced knowledge of you all! A went through tha FAQ, but couldnt get the DLC-s working on my computer. I bought then online (Stone prisoner, Wardens Ceep, DSC, return to Ostagar), and manually downloaded them, because i had the blank windows, only my remining bioware points were shown there. No, after the manually install and using the daupdater, they seem to be there, but its forbidden to use and open them, because it writes out that they do not belong to my account, but to another one. I use my computer alone, i have only one ac**** with one email adress, and reinstalled the whole game and awakening twice... Im really getting hopeless...
Please, someone... Anybody. who has a sollution for me? Im using Win7 x64 professional, if its nesecerry to no...
Thanks!

Edit: Forgot to mention, tried all the solutions in the stickied topics, none of them worked, hence my frustration at shelling out 7 bucks for a program that essentially bricked my game.

I have some content (spent by points) and its saying i do not have version 1.0 and 1.02. However, i downloaded version 1.03 and installed (upgraded) dragon age. Ive restarted the computer too but STILL the content wont work because of the version.
Whats gone wrong?

I have gotten through the majority of the game, i think, and played like way too much, so firstly i am not inclined to just starting over, besides i don't think it'll help anyway.
My problem is that after doing all of the quests to get the help of mages, elves and dwarves and that, the game hasn't noticed that i got the mages. I did the quest and it says i haven't and when i go to the tower it won't let me in to try again.
Also, whenever i try to talk to wynne in the camp the screen goes blue and it goes to the point when you first meet her in the tower, then it chucks me into the party selection screen and onto the world map.
It's just irritating y'know?

To get to the point, I have tried to install Origins 3 times now, and each time I get a message "installation failed, unable to find a data file, or disk was removed." The problem is I don't know what data file is missing, if it is... or is this some kind of fixable bug? Please, if anyone knows what to do to fix the problem, help me out. Thanks.

The first of these two will show up that way:schalafi wrote...
Ok, I'll try. Thanks for answering.
"Data Error" during either game's install (DA or ME-2)
http://social.biowar...77298/2#3005978
"Failed to authenticate disk" after already playing the game a lot
http://social.biowar...56024/1#3004268
Both sets of symptoms are inter-related with EA's hard copy incompatibilites on both DA and ME-2.
