I bought my dragon age origins and awakening on steam for 80 dollars and now... i bought all the dlc's... but i got no codes so how in the hell am i supposed to redeem them? -.-'

first off sorry if I am posting this in the wrong place looked around didnt fiind any info on my concern. My laptop died removed my HD backed everything up before sending it in for repairs. HD was reimaged PC is now repaired and working great. I dumped my saved data on the HD,reinstalled DA buut I am not seeing saved game data or profiles can someone please help me. I hate the thought of having to start all pover again.

 I'm noticing that none of the Tier 4 poisons (Quiet Death - Concentrated demonic poison) work, I can make them well enough but the icons grey out saying I need improved poison making, which is of course nonsense since my character has master poisonmaking. 

I've tried uninstalling all my DLC and starting a new game, to no effect, any suggestions?

I've noticed bioware hasn't responded to any inquiries regarding crashes in the slightest! With as many poeple complaining about system freezes or CTD's, you think they'd at least acknowledge the problem or post something along the lines of "we're working on a fix that doesn't make it worse (1.03) and that actually does something (1.04)" Seriously Bioware? I've posted several times on my system crash when playing awakening and still have had NO response... nice to the problems of the masses are worth NONE of your time or effort.



I'll be playing games that do work in the meanwhile... my awakening disc however makes a lovely coaster... found one good use for it.

I got a problem that i can't hear the dialogue i do use mods but i can't see which one would stop the dialogue i've disabled them and still nothing and as much as i like seeing people's lips moving without any words i've missed all the dialogue in wynne's quest and it really sucks so can i get some help

Cannot install DAO, I keep getting locked up at campaign_vo_english.rar (64.9%- modules\\single player\\audio\\vo\\en-us\\vo\\loghai ... anybody know how to fix this?  Thanks

Leliana's Song - I'm having a problem shared by many others with this add-on. When I play Leliana's Song, Leliana is invisible during cutscenes, and a bald generic female during gameplay. That may be a nuisance, but the real problem is that in the Arl's Estate the game crashes everytime I try to plant documents in the desk. So, it is impossible to advance the game any further. I have the 1.04 patch installed, I've tried reinstalling Leliana's Song several times and also tried fresh downloads. Nothing works. From what I've read on here this is a fairly common problem but I haven't yet come across a solution for it. Has BioWare diagnosed this issue yet?

Did anyone help you with this?  What folders did you back up with your saved data, the whole Bioware or Dragon Age folder or just the savegames?  What OS are you using?  Where did you put all of your saved data when you reinstalled Dragon Age?

What OS are you installing this on?  Are you installing the retail DVD version, or a digital version?

Following you from the Dragon Age 2 forums, your video card is not suitable for Dragon Age or really any recent game.

Your video card is equiv to an Intel Extreme Graphics 2 on that list... Scroll all the way to the bottom to class 6.

Suddenly, after installing DA:O twice on this same computer I can no longer install the game. I get the error, "Installation failed. A data error occurred."

I'm not sure how that's possible, given that I've installed the game twice on the same PC with the same hardware and software configurations, but if anyone can make sense of it I'd be very appreciative.

Although to be honest I'm wondering if the problem might be that my motherboard is dying, since I've had some strange issues with the PC lately, but even were that the case it doesn't explain how every other game and programs installs without a problem.

Running XP Pro SP3.

The "Data Error" symptom is associated with the Steam version and the DVD version, primarily, and seems to be a type of incompatibility between some of the DVD drives, and something on the disk. It may only appear during the install, or may appear much later during routine CD check procedures. There have been at least 13 message threads in here about the subject.

I'm wondering if there's some kind of registry setting that didn't get cleaned out on your last uninstall that might be interfering with your current install.  Do you have CCleaner installed?  I'd suggest running the registry cleaner (make sure to let CCleaner make a backup first), and then let it "fix" the issues it finds.  I suggest unchecking "Unused file Extensions," "Type Libraries," "Start Menu Ordering," before your run the utility.

Just out of curiosity's sake, what other issues have you been having with your computer?

I have all the DLC for Dragon age, i have completed them all. But when I creat a new character, the item reward from darkspawn chronical and lelianna song are missing. I have to recompleted the games each time for my new character ????
What I have to do ?

You shouldn't have to. Honestly, the only thing that worked for me to get the items to spawn correctly was to install 1.04 and then log in to the Dragon Age servers. After that, for some really weird reason, both items and the related DLC achievements seemed to work correctly.

Iv got a gtx260, i7 with 4 gig of ddr3. I am sick to death of this what can i do

i bought the Dragon age origins, and with my cd key i downloaded it with EA download manager, but it still doesnt work, when i want to play, the program ask the DVD (and in forum is sayd,that you dont have to insert the DVD if i download the game with EA dm) . So what could be the problem?

PLEASE help (in support i dont find the answer yet)

After installing patch 1.04 I receive an error when trying to play the game.

"The procedure entry point Netbios could not be located in the dynamic link library vNETAPI32.dll."

Can someone pleas help with this?


Edit: I have gone back to patch 1.03 and am able to play the game again, so no big rush.
But if possible, would be nice to get a fix for it.

I have had the game for a long time. Brought Awakening after Origins and it worked fine. Now, after playing few months only Origins I tried to play Awakening but it crashes all the time. It's not just some random crash, it happens when I 1) try to start a dialogue 2) try to attack something 3) try to change area. To make it clear, it doesnt happen at Origins.

After a while and several fixing attempts I realized that the game also crashes the same way when I try to create new character for Origins. So, cant play Awakening, cant play Origins since all my characters are done and so.

Reading forums have led to me to conclusion that the problems are with patches. It happened first with 1.03. So I tried downloading 1.04, no improvement, same problems. I'd like to any solution attempts to my problem and if it's about patches, some information when are they gonna fix it.

IMPORTANT EDIT: Just figured out important part of the problem. Didnt came to my mind earlier than today. Actually Awakening and character creation works all fine, but only on male characters. So I tried some more and it seems that also Origins crashes when playing on female character. Males works perfectly on all occasions. This changes much of the problems type. Hoping for quick a solution.
