Just downloaded from EA Downloader DAO and AW, Installed leaving only the 1.03 patch.  Installed after this only a few DLC's; Stone Prisioner, Warden's Keep, lucky stone, and Return to Ostagar.

After this,  I restarted my pc, launced game.  I enter the CC screen, pick race, ect..when I click next DAO crashes to desktop.  What in the heck is going on?

I had to download for EA downloader because my CD rom will not recognize my disk.  This is the 3 time trying to deal with this.  Before it was the 1.04 patch causing nothing but problems.  Now I cannot even get past the opening.  Can someone help me please?

(Note: IMO, the practical choices for the two video cards above should be the Radeon X800 Pro, and the Geforce 6800 GS, at least, for small textures - it will take a Radeon X1650 XT (or X1800 GTO, same thing, almost) for medium or better textures)

INTEL'S GARBAGE (Graphics Chip) IS NOT SUPPORTED

There are still too many complaining about problems when it is the hardware that isn't good enough, and almost no one wants to follow the reporting procedures:

I had a code for Stone-Golem and i used it with this Email, then i logged in Dragoan Age, but i cant Download it right there, cause i could not find it there...

I have a problem with installing that file. I opened the updater and select the WRK_RESPEC_MOD_16.dazip (it has size about 34 kb). Then clicked on install, but it stopped around the middle and said that there is an error. I have tried several times, but cannot installed it successfully.

Hi guys, I'm not sure this theme is allowed, so sorry if something wrong,



I have a problem with installing of. DLC "Witch Hunt" for my PC-DAO.

Bought it this morning, using BioWare-points. The email with purchase code says I should just re-login my game account - and DLC'll be downloaded automatically.

I've already done that, even installed the newest patch (1.04) - NOTHING HAPPENS.



Maybe this happens cause my DAO version (+Awakening too) is russian?

Than what should I do with all that?



P.S. As you could understand, I'm not really good in english - be nice))

My wife started playing dragon age on my computer and has now bought the Ultimate Edition for herself, however we set up a second account for her and now she is unable to load her save game as the ultimate edition doesnt provide the collectors edition or the memory band, is there any way that she can get access to these save games? I don't remember if the collectors edition provided anything other than the memory band that the ultimate edition does not.

write services.msc in the run menu (start/run) in windows.
Find Dragon Age in the new window,right click and select Start/Run
Right click again in dragon age and selec properties.
select auto in the startt type.

Edit: Oh wait i spoke to soon,
i recently reinstallde DAO becuase of the DLC problems.
Now i cant choice "DaO-Awakening" anymore.. Anyone got a clue?

I normally ignore anything related to DLC because I wanted it in hard copy only, and not in the screwed-up version offered as "Ultimate", that still requires all kinds of unnecessary back and forth with EA's and Bioware's broken server software.

But your question is simple.  You just download it again, is all.  Free, except the cost of your time.

In dragon age origins im stuck on the bridge in the urn of sacred ashes quest whenever i make part of the bridge solid it disappears when i go off is that supposed to happen?someone told me it only required 2 people to do it and the bridge pieces should lock  in place and not disappear when they're solid.

hmmmm dont know what to tell you there,might be a game bug if ur PC can run other games smoothly.I'm not a computer expert,but judging from what you said its hard to tell if its a hardware  or game bug.

My game suddenly started performing noticebly slower, just after the latest microsoft update.  I'm downloading the latest Nvidia drivers now to see if it helps.

Next time,  you should have a fresh Restore Point saved first.  This time, get into the update options and turn off automatic updates.  In addition to the graphics driver, you may find you need to reinstal Dx9 (yes, 9, not 10 and not 11).

When i am in game play i keep crashing i have a window's 7 quad core system that's brand new i have installed all up dates and still crashes and by looks of things it keeps taxing one proccer that what my anti virus says how can i get it too work on all four cpu? because this may help the game

Normally, it works all the cores.  Some more than others.  Anyway, disable your antivirus, sounds like it might be causing you issues too.  You really need to give us your hardware specs to help you further.

Dragon Age Ultimate Edition (for PC) refuses to believe that I'm connected to the internet.
The login button is greyed out, I've searched and searched and tried everything I could find and nothing helps.
-Reinstalling
-Running as admin
-Disabling ecncapability
-Trying a clean boot
-Disabling account control
-Opening ports
-Disabling antivirus/firewalls
-Deleting temporary files
-Clearing background processes

I've been in contact with support at EA five times now, they gave me a downloadable version of the game, that doesn't work either.

My operating system is Windows 7 32-bit.
Is there anything else anyone can suggest?

You will need to complete an actual Problem Report.  Personally, I would advise skipping what Victor suggested in his sticky, and going with what Chris Priestly wrote, or Pacifien, as well, now pinned near the top of the two ME Tech forums.  Chris' outline is in ME-1, quoted by me, with mysef as "Author", although I am not, at least not strictly.

I don't know what else I can say, it's not an issue with my computer specs, I can run the game fine, I've been able to log in on this computer previously, but since I've installed a new operating system (Vista home premium to Windows 7), I can't log in. I don't think that can be related though.
I've described the problem, I'm not sure what else to tell.
