You will need to complete an actual Problem Report.  Personally, I would advise skipping what Victor suggested in his sticky, and going with what Chris Priestly wrote, or Pacifien, as well, now pinned near the top of the two ME Tech forums.  Chris' outline is in ME-1, quoted by me, with myself as "Author", although I am not, at least not strictly.

Just what I said.

Hey, a question - is it possible to make dragon age:origins look in a different folder for the saved games and stuff? The bioware folder in the C:\\Users area is taking up too much space there. Thanks for any tips.

Dragon Age Ultimate Edition (for PC) refuses to believe that I'm connected to the internet.
The login button is greyed out, I've searched and searched and tried everything I could find and nothing helps.
-Reinstalling
-Running as admin
-Disabling ecncapability
-Trying a clean boot
-Disabling account control
-Opening ports
-Disabling antivirus/firewalls
-Deleting temporary files
-Clearing background processes

I've been in contact with support at EA five times now, they gave me a downloadable version of the game, that doesn't work either.

My operating system is Windows 7 32-bit.
Is there anything else anyone can suggest?

The only other thing I can think of for you to try is to make sure the DragonAge updater service is running.

1.  This is for GAME discussion.  The Toolset is a separate program and it has its own separate forums, where you can ask such questions.

2.  Google found this rather easily:

http://social.biowar...t.php#downloads

I didn't check to see if it was still valid.  You could've performed your own search before now.  (You shouldn't take offense; that's a perfectly valid return comment.)

So. How do you actually contact the EA support?

Every time I try to use the help page, I'm prompted to log in, I do this and get redirected to the very same login page!

It's nothing wrong with my password or account, since when I do enter a wrong one, I get redirected to the usual 'wrong password or account' page.

I'm getting slightly angry here and I'm really not very willing to shell out money for the telephone hotline when there should be an online support.

The only thing I can suggest is to create a new account and try that.

My copy of dragon age: origins is telling me that I don't own any of the downloadable content even though I have spent much of my hardearned money on the very same. This annoys me quite alot!

That is to say, I do not own the Ultimate edition, I have the Steam digital deluxe edition (as if that should make a difference) with the following DLCs bought and installed: Awakening, Return to Ostagar, Wardens keep (or whatever it's called) The Stone Prisoner, Darkspawn Chronicles and witch Hunt.

Heck, even the free DLC, The Edge (y'know, the one with the dagger) has disappeared.

Greetings, i am having problems with dragonage.

At random intervals the game keeps going to a black screen and freezeing for a few seconds and then going back to normal, if it happens enough time it crasses to desktop and i need to Ctrl alt del to stop the freezing.

I think my pc is good enough to handle it, i even tried everything lowest graphics options, disabled verticle sync, windowed mode etc but it still the same issuses,

running on windows 7 64bit

AMD phenom ii x6 1035t processor ~2.6GHz

4gig ram

NVIDA GeForce 315

All my drivers are up to date, if someone could help that would be great! i really want to play this game.

Sorry, but the 315 is just the 205 with another name, and is too slow for it to meet the minimum. You will need to set everything to Low, including the screen resolution, and then retest that way.

The phrase "kinda cheap" is really way too open-ended, and so far, the symptom you experienced isn't absolutely certain to have been hardware only. What you should have seen was slowness generally, unless and until your screen resolution, particularly, was reduced. What resolutions have you tried, and how has the game responded to the screen changes?

If it's still not good enough, give us a specific number of dollars, or whatever your currency of choice may be, as a budget.

Hmm. That's $161 USD these days. Interestingly enough, the Toms Hardware Bang for the Buck article for February has only one entry for the entire range $130 to $175 USD, the Radeon HD 5770. How does that strike you?

Take a look at this:

    * Recommended:
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad 2.4 GHz Processor or equivalent
CPU: AMD Phenom II X3 Triple core 2.8 GHz or equivalent
RAM: 2GB (4 GB Vista and Windows 7)
Video: ATI 3850 512 MB or greater
Video: NVIDIA 8800GTS 512 MB or greater
DirectX 11: ATI 5850 or greater
DirectX 11: NVIDIA 460 or greater

Playing on Dx10 ("High"), the HD 5770 should be fine.  On Medium (Dx9), it should be great.  But not "Very High" (Dx11), it would slow down too much there.  I would consider it an excellent value for the price, same as Toms Hardware does, and "High" settings should be plenty good!

Heloo everyone! I am a new player of Dragon Age: Origins and I have a problem.

I bought 560 points on the BioWare website. With those points I bought Warden's Keep from the Downloadable Content page in the main menu of the game. When the download began nothing happened. I got inpatient and canceled the game to download the content from this website. And so I did, and installed the content. When I later started the game the content was installed but unauthorized. I tried to log on and of, over and over but nothing changed. The game is asking me to log on to an acount that doesnt exist.

If anyone has any advice to give me or could give me some instructions i would be happy.

4GB DDR2 RAM
GTS450 1024MB

Thanks for the answer and sorry if anyone had this problem before, i haven't found anything around here.

The only thing I can suggest is to make sure your not overheating.  Get a program called MSI Afterburner, you can monitor temps and change your fan profile with it.  Also make sure your cpu isn't overheating.  Blow out any dust buildup you might have.

So, uhh, I install the game, hit play, and nothing happens. Steam tells me I'm in the game for ~5ish seconds and then nothing happens.

AMD Athalon II X4
Radeon HD 6850
8 gigs of RAM.
Windows 7 x64.

Anyone got an idea?

Drivers are up to date, I installed them yesterday.
