Unfortunately that's not an issue I'm familiar with, to repeat what Sami Jo has said try the Solutions Round-Up thread pinned to the top of this forum, someone there may have a fix for you.

Downloaded the game with EA's Origin system, I get the launcher up and click play. Then a msg comes saying the game has stopped working and Windows is looking for a solution...something it cant find.

Any clue to what this could be? The game should be the latest release since it's downloaded from Origin one would think?

Running on the following spec:
Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-2600K CPU @ 3.40GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.4GHz
Memory: 16384MB RAM
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 590
Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

SOVLED: It was the gfx driver, uninstalled and installed them and somehow it worked.

I' ve installed it but when I put the disk of DAO it says :Please insert DAO disk.! But when I put DAO Awekening it reads the disk and the menu appears and when I click on play it says: Failed to authenticate disk. Please insert correct disk.! PLEASE help me!!!!!!

These are player to player support forums, rather than spamming various threads (which kinda hacks people off and makes them less likely to help you) I recommend first reading this post, then checking through the Solutions round-up thread. If nothing on there helps then you can post a new thread with the information described in that first post and a note to say you've checked the solutions stickies, someone may then be able to provide a solution.

If there's nothing in the Solutions thread and/or you don't want to start a new thread then you need to contact EA directly via their official support site.

People, can you help me with my problem: I have license DAO with full expansion contents. TOday i copied foldier with game from disk C on disk D and ALL MY EXPANSION contents was disappeared. And on my account is written that i must BUY all DLC again...
In what way i can return my DLC?

MISSING EYES:
I noticed that many of the NPCs have missing eyes. All that's present is the sockets. I first noticed it when the mage behind Ser Cauthrien (sp?) Had no eyes, and later, two of the elves in the alienage didn't have eyes. A few in the landsmeet didn't have eyes either.

MISSING SPEECH: In the landsmeet, some of Anora's and Loghain's words are cut off. When Anora talks, she says "This man is not the hero of ....", and the word "Riverdane" was jumped over. For Loghain, he said "Which of you stood against the Orlesian emperor when his troops flattened your fields and raped your ...", and jumped over the word "wives". Is something wrong with my game?

Urn of Ashes quest in Haven.

I am new to all this and would appreciate some help. I am trying to find the ashes to help the Arle of Eamon. I went to the ruined Temple to find the temple and can't get past the lcked door. I found the key in the western part of the temple and added it to my inventory (along with the chain boots and black pearl) but when I go to the door that requires the key I find the key (and the other items) are not in my inventory.

What did I do wrong? I have tried going back to an earlier saved game and going through the process again, but no luck. I am at a stand still and am very frustrated.

Thanks for any help I can get.

Hey guys!

First of all, sorry for my english I know that's not perfect:) Just bought the Dragon Age Origins Ultimate version on steam. Everything worked fine, but I have a strange fps problem. In every 10-15 sec, it drops to 1-2 fps for a few sec, then it speeds up to playable rate, and again down, and again up, so to game is almost unplayable.  Hope you can help, I am out of ideas.:/ 
My config:

AMD Athlon II P340 Dual-Core 2200Mhz
3 GB DDR3 memory
ATI mobility Radeon HD 5650 1 GB

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit

Does it happen in all areas or just specific ones?

Would recommend you to disable as many background application as you can. That would include download managers/printer monitoring application. Get the latest drivers update as well. See if that works for you.

Yeah it happen in all areas :( I have the latest drivers, I will try to close as many application as I can while I play, will see, thank you!:)
Read somewhere that maybe the source of the problem is the windows 7, but dont wanna reinstall my old vista 32 bit so hope we can find an other way :)

My problem is when installing from the CD and when it ask for the game registration code, there is no place for me to enter the code, the dialog box is empty and the only choice I have is to enter next and when I do that it comes up finished and the game does not install.  I need help thanks.

I am unable to conect to the EA server from inside the game and so I cant authenticate my DLC. Is there a way to do this offline?
