Please, can
someone help me with this? I recently bought the Ultimate edition of Dragon
Age: Origins, which comes with a serial number for downloading all of the
downloadable contents. The problem is, although i bought the game four days
ago, the serial number referent to the DLCs expired on July 30 2011, as it says
on the flyer that came inside the game box... I already sent an e-mail to
suporte3@ea.com (support e-mail of EA in Brazil), contacted the distributor
here in Brazil (I got no reply from neither) and searched for an e-mail contact
in the official site of EA (My surprise: there was none!).  Please, can someone tell me the official
e-mail contact of EA support, or give me an answer on how to handle this and
get a new serial number?

Thanks a
lot.

This is the wrong place to ask. It is a REFERENCE thread to add helps to, not ask questions in.

social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/58/index/81613

That is also a Reference Thread.  It includes what you want to know, and is not a proper place to ask questions in, either.

If you need to ask questions, after doing a proper search, go here & follow the directions for completing your individual personal problem report.

the only things my game needs fixed is memory leak, stuttering that gets progressively worse over time, lag that gets progressively worse over time, and eventually i have to crash the game because exiting normally does little to help me.

the problem used to be my graphics card, not anymore this game has no excuse to run the way it does. other games i had problems with were fixed.

except this one, i'm not running it on max not stressing it at all and it continues to be an ever present thorn in my side, i've had these problems since day 1, 2 years later it has given me more stress then anything else i have gone through.

it's aggravating then you can put more hours into fixing a game and it does jack to fix it.

as a result i avoid playing it to keep my stress to a minimum. but i won't stop looking for fixes till it is fixed.

sad thing is i used to enjoy this game, back when i started playing it and i hadn't gone through 2 years worth of frustration and hell. and ironicly i come here to find the unoffical fix topic is no longer stickied. that was my best chance of getting any relief.

but honestly when i upgraded my graphics card, the only hardware upgrade i have ever done since owning a computer 10+ years ago, i expected dragon age to still have all the same problems i got the new card to fix. at least fo3, da2, skyrim, oblivion, and darksiders run good. what is this game's excuse now, skyrim runs better my computer doesn't even meet skyrim's recommended settings and it runs better then dragon age which my machine is overqualified for.

heck i have 50+ mods in fo3 and it runs on ultra now with no problem. i still say that 15gigs is alot for this game fo3 is 5gigs, oblivion is 5gigs, skyrim is 5gigs, all of them have more content then dragon age ever will and dao is 15gigs, i don't know about anyone else but it takes forever to download a 15gig file on steam, even more so when you are the 5th computer on a wireless router sharing the same internet that is only dsl.

they won't run cable out this far my dad already asked. takes 2 damn days to download, thank god that is only when my harddrive crashes because of something stupid i did.

and yes i am irritated, just thinking of the issues i have with this game makes my blood boil anymore.

and the icing on the cake is none of the patches have helped in the slightest.

does it look like i care, i've been fighting with this game for long enough, the people that made this thing need to hear my story so at least they know how crappy it runs on some computers.

if a computer runs skyrim better then dao, something is seriously wrong. skyrim has higher requirements then dao and it runs better.

that make zero sense. even if i did tell them directly i have huge doubts it would help in the slightest, i have tried every fix i could find, mods, external programs, hardware update, software update, editing shortcuts, tweaking, compatiblity, tweaking, running it as an administrater, turning off autosaves, adjusting graphic setings, sound settings.

nothing has helped, bioware needs to fix this mess. if my beth games run better they have serious problems.

Hi!

I've bought the Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition in Steam. It includes all of the DLC-s, but after I logged in (which was very difficult, had to change my password to do that) I saw that all of the DLC-s are unauthorized. I was logged in with my new online profile, which has the redeem code, too. I added that to my profile. I restarted the Windows (7, 64 bit), but nothing changed.

What's the problem?

Regards

This is not the thread to ask in, and the question is an unnecessary one, long since answered in full detail in the sticky post about the problem.

Okay, I read about this problem, but the game doesn't work at all. After waiting a day, I can't see any DLC in my online profile here. I added the DLC key again but it doesn't work anymore (I saw all of them yesterday, but my online profile didn't work in the game), and the error message:

"Unable to redeem code.
That code has already been used, and cannot be redeemed again. " - that's very funny...

I don't have any another online profile, so I guess it can't be the problem. Now, I have a game that I can't use and I paid for it! I can't see anything at the page "Your registered game content " for this game. I had all DLC yesterday!

Could anyone help me?

I have a pretty simple question to ask. Just got a new laptop and I was wondering if it would be able to handle DAO. Don't know if this is the right place to ask this but I don't know a whole lot about how PCs work and I'm only just now really starting to get into PC gaming so it'd be great if anyone can offer any help.

My specs are....

CPU: AMD E-450 APU with Radeon™ HD Graphics
RAM: 7GB
Video Card: AMD Radeon HD 6300 series Graphics

I think, if anything, the CPU would be the problem since I never seem to have any problems with RAM or the video card. However, bear in mind I have made a lot of tweaks to my PC to speed up the CPU so I'm not sure if that will help things along. It does seem to have made a difference with other games though. I'm not particularly fussed about running it with everything turned up to the max, just to be able to play it without too much interference and without it looking like turd.

Thanks. :)

I posted this in awakening thread I am posting again here in case someone has some ideas. on how to check further or other solutions I have not tried.

an any arrogant American can keep there comments to their self since you have everything in life and think the rest of us should also.

Awakening will not install or at least it says it is installed and is not. I have the Origin client. DAO is both download and disk. Awakening is a digital download.

This started once I had some kind of conflict with the 1.4 and 1.5 patch. I contacted bioware and was advised to uninstall and reinstall. It was working fine up until this point.

I have an intel i7 with the ati 5670 (only because in the philippines we are so far behind on video cards) 32 bit win 7 operating system.

I set Origin client to vista compatibility as per instructed by bioware in the latest update.

I have the game set to XP SP2 as advised by win7 compatibility trouble shooter.

Next I did the uninstall and downloaded awakening and got a failed install error. Tried to download and install awakening again. Got a Warning Sign with and OK button nothing else.

contacted help again and they advised doing a manual uninstall. Did that. no joy.

Other issues I experienced during the uninstall I used revo to uninstall the first time and it worked normally except it uses the game uninstaller and should eliminate most of the registry files on uninstall. It did not had many entries to delete. On the last uninstall revo work normally and only had 3 registry entries to delete associated with the game. so I think it worked normally. I always clean the registry both after an uninstall and after reboot once the software is installed with Norton and PowerSuite. One clears empty entries and one corrects direct X and registry entries.

Next I have uninstalled DAO several times and reinstalled several times from my digital download and from the DAO disk don't have an awakening disk. Only the digital download.

Now what happens is Origin installs awakening according to it and it is not installed. the play button for awakening is available in Origin client but it is not installed. last helper from the help desk said everything is fine on his end. Much help that was. you can run the launcher but you get no selection from the game to play awakening or DAO just launches into the game.

If you need more info to help just ask, if you have run into the problem and know of something I am not thinking of let me know. Any help or suggestion would be helpful at this point. And if you think your the forum police get another real job and keep your comments to your self. I have searched the forms and no one has reported this problem unless I overlooked it if you can give me a direct link to that fix so I can apply it to this situation.

So in conclusion awakening is installed according to Origin Client but is not installed in the game.

Oh so you have the full picture of what is going on the disk for DAO runs and installs with out a keycode being entered. I suspect that there is some file keeping my keycode that was not deleted during the manual uninstall and/or found by revo. It should ask for the keycode. Also yes all the temp files are cleared and eveything UAC is off etc.

This may indeed be true-- it is not, however, an appropriate discussion topic for this forum.  Leave snideness and jingoism at the door, please.

As to your ongoing issue, I see that you've posted a complete report in another forum topic, located at:
http://social.biowar...09499/1#8909499

I suggest we continue troubleshooting there.

Go to DLC Downloadable Content authorization issues there is a link in the forum to fix that issue and it is available on the help site for EA.

I need help too.
My Dragon Age Ultimate Edition, which I just wanted to start playing again after some months, says my DLC is no longer authorized on my account. I am not sure what to do. The warnings say that once a code is redeemed, it can no longer be used, and I redeemed all my codes when I first bought the game, and started playing it.
