when i download the game and click play it says physxloader cant be found. anyone know a solution other that reinstalling?

Hey, I have the xbox version for Dragon Age. I want to share my character on the internet, but the website says I haven't uploaded anything. I've ticked the upload stats thing in the menu in DA. When I start the game it says connecting to server, so I have connection to this site.



I tried registering the game, but it didn't help.



What am I doing wrong?

Can anyone help me get my DLC to work? I'm currently seeing the "unauthorized" message for 3/5 of my dlc. I don't understand it. I'm guessing that the other 2 are because it's either a steam version or because I preordered the game on steam, but then why is Wardens Peak doing the same thing (which I bought yesterday). Not only are they not working now, but Honnleath wouldn't even show up on my map so I never even got the chance to recruit Shale.



Seriously contemplating whether or not I'll be purchasing ME2, or any other Bioware/EA game again.

ok so I played through "harrowed" without any dlc. no crashes so far so good.

Here's one for ya. (Windows XP: DA Origins Deluxe Edition) Uploaded the new patch, which caused the game to malfunction. Upon reinstalling, I was able to get the game working (somewhat) again w/ my saved game. But now when I try to start a new character I get a, "Can't load module" error. Anyone know what I need to do, short of trashing this game and never downloading again? Please send me a message to my profile if at all possible. thanks for the help. (I'm really starting to hate PC gaming...)

4. Notice distinct lack of Playing and Launching of DA Origins

you all need to look outside this thread... there are posts that fix all three of the posts prior to physXloader's... Vezraga and dreessen need to check here and Mightyg would benefit from setting core affinity to any single non-primary core here that's addressing AMD processors but some intel processors also suffer similarly

PLease some1 tell me if I am completely over looking something or what I am doing wrong. I finished the quest in Orzammar in Dust Town to kill Javira for Bahlen, I also explored all the I could in Aeducan Thaig then my quest log says to report back to Bahlen to tell him of my sucess in killing Javira which I can't do b/c he's in the Chamber of Assmble & the Steward won't let me in. Oghren wants me to look for Branka which I tried but for the life of me I can't find Caradin's Cross. I only have Orzammar & Aeducan Thaig on my map. WHat am I missing ro doing wrong? I've seacrhed the forums & other sites, walk throughs for like 20 minutes now. CAn some1 please, please help me???

I havd done 4 different origin's and have not had any crashes, Thank the Maker! However, I have taken about 100 screen shots, and when I got around to going looking for them they were nowhere to be found. Oh I can find the story screenshots, and the achievement screenshots, but not a single user taken screenshot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can anyone direct me to a patch, or is there a folder hidden in the bowels of my CPU that contains what I seek? Any help would be appricited.

have this problem too, but I entered only one code though... that of my collectors edition items, Bergen helmet, Final reason and frostback memoires...all wich don't show up in DLC tabs, nothing really shows up there <_<

Still a very marked lack of support from Bioware. I am in no way shocked.  Seeing as how I am now stuck with this game because I opened it, I wonder if I will ever be able to actually play it?  Somehow I am doubting it.  Thanks Bioware for yanking money from my pocket and guaranteeing that I will never buy another of your games.

Sorry I did'nt read all the pages but I guess my problem with DA is not very common (I've checked different ressources on the web and found very little indication of the same problem I'm having). I've also posted on EA support link but I'm not sure of their ability to resolve this kind of things.

So, to be short, the visualisation of the screenshots taken is not working in the game (success, screenshots I've taken, savegames screenshots...). I can see them perfectly under windows. I've read it's the game that can't deal with windows XP username with accent (mine is something like that: "Jérémie ..."). I'm under win XP 32 bits, family (and I've got the Steam collector edition but that's not very relevant with the problem of screenshots I guess).
The path is something like that (I've changed the user name):
C:\\\\\\\\Documents and Settings\\\\\\\\Jérémie\\\\\\\\Mes documents\\\\\\\\BioWare\\\\\\\\Dragon Age\\\\\\\\Screenshots\\\\\\\\

Here's 2 screens of the problem (I've manualy edited the spoiler white square on the first screen and also made disappear my username on the second):

Right I also changed the core on the proc to 1 and it still crashed. I'm going to try messing around with some of the graphic options tonight, see if that has any affect.

Has there been a fix for this yet? Searching is bork'd so it's hard to shuffle through so many threads.

The PhysX problem requires a reinstall of the PhysX drivers... try google

Also, if you are not familiar with what "BETA" means, please cool your temper and go look it up.

There are a lot of components that have to mesh together to get this to work. The client (your PC/console) has to communicate properly with the database servers. The volume is high which makes this complicated. Then the interface between the database servers and the application servers that host this site need to be tuned to fix glitches and better accomodate traffic all while maintaining acceptable performance to the thousands of users on this site.

Again, please have patience.

Well I have quite a small problem. I installed the patch 1.01 and since then when I start up the launcher and press "Play" nothing happens. I have tried everything.



I went to the games folder and tested the .exe file and Windows said it was bad etc.

I don't want to reinstall the game since that will probably delete my saves - y/n?



I will try to install the game on another computer and copy it's .exe file but I would like a respons from Bioware or someone cunning.



The file's name is: Dragonage/bin_ship/daorigins.exe



The windows message is: "This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem."



That's all, I hope to see a response.
