I'm having an interesting time with Leliana as well. I have 100+ approval and she started talking to me about how she felt and she got angry because I sat and waited and didn't tell her how I felt. The option to kiss her came up and I finally shut her ranting up with my tongue but I still haven't gotten invited back to her tent either.



Morrigan on the other hand is harassing Leliana about stealing her property from her and Leliana is clueless. I talked to Morrigan once after I gave her flemeths grimoire and she tore my stinking clothes off of me. This was the only time that I had ever bothered to talk to Morrigan. Because I wanted Leliana this playthrough I went back and didn't talk to Morrigan after giving her flemeths grimoire. Morrigan still keeps badgering Leliana about stealing things from her and Leliana acts completely clueless. Even more so I put Alistair in the party before I did Leliana's personal quest and he was teasing her about me as well.

Whatever happened to "friend with benefits"?  Or does the maker condemn such arrangements?  I should have known better than to fall for an Andrastian...

No. The maker actually approves sharing blessings.

The point is that there are two ways to the 100% approval. A friendship route and a romance route. The friendship locks out the other.

Edit: As long as the approval gauge indicatees "interested" or "adore" or "love" then you are fine. Watch it after each conversation. Address one topic at a time. Some responses appear after you come back to camp.

Yeah, for my husband he called her a good friend and that was the kill to the romance option and he never knew. And he too had her up to 100 for a long time and a LOT of the dialogue didn't come up. The whole stars and marjoline wasn't even mention in his.

He'll have to replay it.

These Leliana threads amuse me. Was playing a Dwarf noble recently and decided he probably thought Human females were off the menu so I went out of my way to pick "friend" options with Morr and Lel.



Had Lel at 100% friendly after doing most of her quests/convos (I wanted those Cunning bonuses, locked chests make me sad) and started yet another convo. Carefully stepped through the friendly options and she starts professing her love for me. Reload, try again. Had to do this twice before I choose a faintly rude (to me) option that shut her down quick without triggering the love speech.



Then I come to these boards and find dozens of threads complaining that Lel's to hard to get. Priceless.

The "talk" that Leliana has with you and inviting you to her tent can disapear. It happened to me, when I did the urn quest before bedding her. It got switch to "you have tutched the ashes of Andraste". But if so you should have the "lets go to bed" option in her talkmeny instead, if you have her at "love". 
It will be as if you had told her you wanted to wait when she askt you to her tent.... anoying but no biggy.

If you want her to fall in love with you, use (when ever it comed up) "you can always feel safe with me" and "i want let anyone harm you" and dialogs like that...

He jumped too early, train wasn't in the station yet. Traffic got stopped and security got him off the rails.
And I was too much in a "Meh... screw this I'm going home" mood to kill him myself for interfering with my non-existent love life <_<

Sharp, as you are using the PC version, you are in luck and can use the ingame console to kindle the flames of love.

a simple runscript zz_app_debug will then let you set the romance flag.

Thank you so much. I knew there had to be a simple "change a 1 to a 0" soltuion to this. I would have responded right away, but for some reason the whole forum bugged out on me for a few hours after I saw that answer.

It fixed it right up.
