But when it comes to those kind of comparisons it is not really fair. One player might be better at the game then another player, so doing a "duo" to compare is more about the individual skill of the player rather then the character/weapon combination. The only fair way to try it out is to try it yourself and compare it to other combinations that you try yourself, and that's exactly what I've done.

Seeing as both Cain and Max are way better players than I am, I think it is a great testament to the GI GPS when I(!) can use it and top the scoreboard with quite the margin.

I've tried it all, and when I compare the things I've tried nothing beats this

So saying it's a testament to the GPS GI that you topped the scoreboard is...interesting.

I've tried almost every weapon on the GI. I like the GPS, but I'm always off host.. so there are easier to use options. I specifically like the Jav, Hurricane sometimes, Eagle, Raider, and various other gun when I feel like messing around, Spitfire, Shuriken, and Scimitar.

Last time I checked neither does the GPS. And, that is my one MAJOR gripe on the GPS. It is nice for staggering all mooks, but doesn't get the job done against the bigger enemies.

On topic:
Javelin, Talon, Hurricane, Black Widow, PPR would be the usual suspects on the GI if you want high scores.
BatSol, Valkyrie are other candidates.
I usually score higher with Javelin and Talon GI than GPS GI.

That was not what I meant bro, please forgive me if it came off like that 

I never care about score, so we always play for fun. I just tried to answer the question about comparing a player to another player instead of a certain build. I'm not as good of a player as you are by a long shot, and if we would use the same loadouts you would beat me every time, so me getting a good score with that class just showed how good the character/weapon combination in itself was. Didn't mean to sound like I "beat" you or anything, was not my intention at all

GI Harrier, HM specced with Rate of fire is a pretty powerful combination when used with the Harrier.

All projectile weapons, powers and melee ignore armor damage reduction.  So yes, the GPS does ignore armor DR.

I never really played gps GI because of a cloak bug or something I would get with charge up weapons.

It's not really all about score either, it is a combination between being able to kill things and being able to survive. So when you combine the survivability that this character and weapon brings you together with the damage that you can do I see it as a clear winner.

I think I will need to try and do a Platinum solo with it just to see how it compares even more.

I can think of at least 53 set ups that are way, way, way better than the GPS. GPS is very weak on platinum, I'm very surprised by this thread actually. Lets name a few:

GI piranha
GI talon
GI javelin
GI hurricane
GI claymore
GI raider

These are about a thousand times better. The list goes on, and on, and on. Almost every weapon outclasses the GPS (except the scimitar and shuriken).

I really beg to differ. I've tried them all. In the past the Claymore used to be my favorite weapon on the GI and I became very good with it. Then it was the Black Widow, then the Javelin, then the Scorpion, then the Piranha, then the Harrier. Now it is the GPS.

I've tried all of the weapons on it and some of them used to be my main weapons for it in the past. And I just can't find anything as good for it as the GPS, sorry but that's just how I see it after 1500 hours of gameplay.
