Got to disagree with you on this smooth, I think you're setting the bar too high. We know that the great majority of games played are on bronze or silver, so I think it's fair to say the average player is probably just decent in a full silver team.
Good players would be anyone above that level.

I didn't seriously define an average player :P only what I consider to be a 'good' or 'great' player.

What is "average" is really subjective, no matter how you try to define it.

I have found that the average person in my games scores 57K points, cares about objectives 63% of the time and uses 1.6 missile on wave 11. They also have 1.7 testicles and 0.3 ovaries.

Bsn average is solo platinum/gold.

Pug average: able to finish bronze with a full team

Yup. You can probably try and define it in the context of this board or the average pug you go into - they would be very different and I don't think it's easy to agree on one definiton through. I have fun and kill things in both situations.

Most people have good and bad games (bad day / bad connection / drunk / tired / not the right team synergy / pissed off and just wants to play recklessly ) which would affect if other players think they're bad, good or average. 

I have met very competent people through this board through - people that are very willing to teach others and relaxed whilst playing the game. Thats great!

I also spent 6 medigels wave 1 of a silver solo the other day, and used an ops pack when facing down a bronze nemesis.

Depends on the baseline, I think. Since the baseline for some on BSN, which is a small sample of the ME3 community, is ridiculously high this may not be the best forum to ask.

On a serious note, I wish I could play with the xbox peeps. PC players are all hackers tho.

I only put PC as good because of the awesome controls and PS3 as average because you guys spend more time rebooting then playing the game.
