It's yummy deliciousness.

See, I play my Phoenix very aggressively. I am generally always mid-to-very close range on everything, so Piranha makes sense as an in-your-face easy to unload gun in between cooldowns. And it's not especially heavy, so cooldowns are low.

I spec my Smashdept as follows:

Lash (3)
Smash (6) - Biotic Combo/Force & Damage/Armor Damage
Singularity (6) - Radius/Lift Damage/Detonate
Passive (5) - Damage & Capacity/Power Damage
Fitness (6) - Durability/Shield Recharge/Fitness Expert

I typically equip a high caliber barrel and a smart choke on the Piranha. Equip shotgun rail amp, AP ammo, power amplifier, and gear of your choice (I usually go for extra survivabilty for Mr. Squishy such as Stronghold Package).

For me, that set-up absolutely wrecks everything, especially Reapers. My #2 choice for Gold/Plat PUGs. Just toss out Singularity, Piranha-to-face, Smash, dodge-roll, Piranha-to-face, dodge-roll, rinse and repeat. I don't even cancel out my full Smash animation... part of why I go for extra survivability because I just like watching the full thing play out... but even without animation cancel, it still wrecks everything in its path.

Under some circumstances (read: ideal circumstances) the Widow on an Infiltrator.

There's something about the straightforward high-damage single-shot sniper rifle that I love, even if I kill pretty slow with it.

But I feel awesome when I use Geth Pulse Rifle on Human Engineer. Haha! This is my go to character when I want explosions!
