Now, how are we supposed to do that if you moderators keep deleting threads at the first sign of a little uglyness. Sorry to inform you, but your community is what it is. Trying to hide the evidence wont make it go away.

Im sure it will too. But if we dont say anything about it, then they wont know how many people are upset with them.

I happen to have forums in my sig that arent being used waiting for activity and wont close threads like this because of a fear of a bad public image or something else probably pointless.

But nobody seems interested. which is fine too. They can stay here and deal with this kind of stuff instead.

I'm not one to advocate censorship that often ... but that thread needed to go. I'm sure there were bans handed out.

It sad really, because while I like some drama, at the end of the day this is a forum to discuss a video game we all like. Personal attacks, racism, sexism, etc. should not need to be tolerated here.

I personally come here to escape reality, not to take on all the problems of the world

Unfortunately, that is the nature of BSN, or the internet really. But in this case I firmly believe that threads should be closed with a valid reason and people warned/banned/whatever needed. Not deleted unless there is bannable content like porn.

Its amazing the amount of threads that are just disappearing lately.

It's not like we don't care. It's more like there's nothing we can do about it. The BSN as a whole stood against the stupidity of the changes to the PM system but the BSN as a whole was silented by the same people who made such changes... and there's nothing we can do; it's their website and they know better what they want on it and what not, right? They have all the rights to decide how this place must be and we gotta play by their rules, right?

Whatever, really. This will go on as long as we tolerate it.

Tolerated because I still like this forum overall.

But I do spend much more time in a certain group on BSN rather than the ME3 MP forum, sadly.

The BSN, as a forum, will always find a way to continue having discussions despite the fact that the rules are specifically made to counteract productive or fun discussions due to its obvious contradictions.

Well I can't speak for others. I'm still here because this is the place where the people I play with come and talk about the game I love and still play after a year. When I stop playing it I believe I will stop coming. That pretty much sums it up.

If said people were elsewhere so would I. Do you know some other place where ME3 MP is discussed with the same passion? It's not a rethorical question.

Yes. The discussions will go with the people that care to make them.

The only reason anybody is still here is because of the friends they have met here. But half of them have either been banned or lost interest alread.  Bring them with you, and the passion follows.

Im wasnt intending to self promote my own forums,  but every day i see threads go missing, and just today deleted while i was reading it! So im making it more seen that there is a place you can go and start things from scratch.

A community cant grow when everything is on lockdown.

Its not anymore. it died off years ago when the singular game we played died. Im looking to change that by providing a place for people to talk about anything and everything and game together with friends across multiple platforms and games.

currently there are only a few people who check in from time to time, and im the only one who maintains it.


Edit: It could be as active as anybody wants it to be.
