Also, you know, I can create whatever kind of forum for any game you want with whatever features you want. Even a live chat system for a specific forum or game or for the entire site.
all I need, is people who want to be apart of a community that has the potential to be larger in idea than BSN can allow, since they are limited to only the games they create.

What was the game you originally created your forum for? I had a peek around there, pretty cool how you can post actual youtube vids in threads instead of just links.
Alien vs predator 2. All the old stuff is still there from years ago, though it probably wont let you access it unless you are registered with the admin. Its the game i met my wife in.

The last post from DragonRacer and Stan's subsequent reason for closing this thread is just mad.
I actually PMed him about that. First time I have ever contested a thread lock, laid down my reasoning in a logical manner.
No response yet.
At least it is immortalized in the Resource Library now. But that made absolutely no sense at all, just none.

Aye.
That thread is part of forum history and is actually a positive thread.
Locking something positive is baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad.

I disagree--the BSN as a whole did not stand against the change. I was one of the overwhelming majority of forum members who did not spam a bunch of nonsense in the wake of the PM announcement.

I completely agree that personal attacks should not be tolerated. However the mods don't know where to draw the line. Even more damning is sometimes they leave open threads attacking certain posters and or groups and don't do a damn thing about it. The mods have an agenda half the time and that's not a good thing.MaxCrushmore wrote...
I'm not one to advocate censorship that often ... but that thread needed to go. I'm sure there were bans handed out.
It sad really, because while I like some drama, at the end of the day this is a forum to discuss a video game we all like. Personal attacks, racism, sexism, etc. should not need to be tolerated here.
I personally come here to escape reality, not to take on all the problems of the world

Might want to wait a couple more days for any sort of upheaval. All the fun people are still on a ban from some of the idiocy of yesterday. :happy:Faulcun wrote...
The question is, what do you guys want to do about it?

The overwhelming majority of those who actually contribute to the board did go a little rabid that day. Even some of the more docile posters went bat**** crazy that day.Feelitmon wrote...

Actually i was wondering when you were going to make your entrance here, and i was hoping you would
Now is the perfect time actually, because it must be frustrating to them. At least i can provide some sort of solution or choice so they dont come back here thinking they dont have one.
But i saw your comments yesterday on a few things and i agree 100%

Most of the BSN did not notice it, I'm blaming it on that. And many of those who didn't berage and went full retard that day are not people you see posting here every day. The majority of those who contribute on a regular basis did take part on the mayhem that arouse that day.Feelitmon wrote...

Eh, IDK how much it frustrates them. Stan can press a few buttons and make a thread disappear and me with it. We can PM global mods problems if we have specific instances and you have them on your friend list.Faulcun wrote...

no i mean the people who were banned. Its already been stated that this forum has the majority activity out of any others on BSN. its just obvious that the fun is being removed little by little. the people that are being banned, are also the people with the most knowledge about the game.
I just feel things are over critical here, and im trying to provide an alternate place to go with more freedom.

Oh I agree the moderation is ridiculous right now and whoever (Jessica, WTF?) made the decision about the PMs had a major brainfart and forgot what a social network is.Faulcun wrote...

Ive provided an actual place to go where you dont have to deal with this kind of stuff. Its a place made for gamers, BY gamers.
I havent seen any other threads like this with a real alternative, but I could be mistaken.
