A community has to be dynamic. The MEMP forum is the most active out of all of them. Thats where they want to go to communicate because thats where they found friends. Look how long it took you to find this thread again once it was moved.

Im willing to bet only a handful of people know this was moved here. Problem is, threads like this one need to stay where they were created, because the people who hang out in that forum are the ones it has a direct effect on.

It would be a welcome site to see a couple sub-sections within the MP section. I can however see why BW has it the whay it is. There is a place for off topic, if people are to lazy to stray out of one specific section, then I can't really fault BW for that.

People keep saying that want to "have fun", but the MP isn't intended to be a place to have fun and joke around, it is intended to be somewhere to go for people to discuss the MP aspect of the game, plain and simple, can that be boring, sure, but it is what it is. BW gave us a group section to have fun in and do what we want to do.

Most peoples real problem is they want the recognition for their humor, they want it to be visable to the masses. They want everyone that isn't in the in-crowd to recognize that they are, and they are hilarious according to their friends. When you herd said group into one area, you don't get quite the same effect. The actual funny, charasmatic people are usually okay with it, while the ones that ride their coattails aren't, and are the ones you see going out of their way to makes things difficult.

Im pretty sure youve just described society in a nutshell. I think that can be attributed to more than just the internet.

Either way, this project is moving forward. A few people have registered over the last day or two. One has an interest in starting a guild for Neverwinter, so ill be creating a section for that once we find out what the requirements are. Ive also promoted another group in warframe, which we may talk about merging more completely in the future.

Its a slow process, but it will happen.

It sad really, because while I like some drama, at the end of the day this is a forum to discuss a video game we all like. Personal attacks, racism, sexism, etc. should not need to be tolerated here.

I have seen spin-off forums come and go, and while I completely get why you are doing it and wish you luck. Without the constant flow of unsuspecting n00bs, scrubs, or, as I like to call them, normal people, the group you are trying to get over there will get bored rather quickly.

If you really want to kick it off as fast as possible though, get the popular girl gamers over there (dragonracer, dark faerie, crimson, BQ, deerber, prosthetic to name a few) and the guys will follow, like puppies. Get them to post a bikini thread and you might have something that will last for a bit...lol, but seriously, that will work.
