I found one that is just amazing (yes, skipped Adrenaline Rush, it serves no purpose in this build):

BF3 Soldier with Incendiary ammo

You can set up and detonate fire explosions with almost every offensive power of this build. Carnage, Frag grenades, Incendiary ammo and all these fire explosions just chew through armor really quickly.

This build is great for crowd control purposes and really shines against the Reaper faction.


I just don't understand why so few people use the Venom, it is an amazing shotgun, and a great complement of some builds.

My new favorite build is the Devastator Mode-less Destroyer. My stagger has stagger on top of its stagger. Chews up Cerberus platinum, phantoms and goons just get owned.

Maybe it gets better as you level it up, but mine is only at I, and I just don't like it.

Back when mine was only at level II, I soloed Platinum with it. Run a few games, see if you can get used to charging and aiming it.

Use Incendiary ammo, that brings out the real magic.

We need to play again soon.  Weirdly enough our last games together were the platinum duos we did with Salarian Infiltrators with Venoms!

Trolling teammates is great with the earthquakes this build causes.

If we still had the old Reave sound it would sound like some crappy Skrillex track.

To answer the question in the title. Drell Vanguard without pull and Destroyer without Slow-Fuq-Mode.

It was made for the melee kro-sent... you can charge it then release when you're in the middle of the animation of the melee backhand, staggering any mook you have your sights on... Perfection ;___;

More like you have to use it a few times to get use to it. It has a completely different feel from every other weapon in the game.

and I use it on my melee turian sabo as well

Basically what Leland said - I put it on a lot of classes these days. My favourites:

SE, QME, Fury, Shaman, DrellGuard, BatSol, Brawler.

Yeah, Venom's a lot of fun. I really enjoy it on the Batarian Vanguard.
