I'd agree with this.  I don't agree that the PPR is #1 though.  Its clip size is already sufficiently large, even at level 1.  The CSR improves a lot more with leveling.  Its clip size at low levels is so small you overheat the gun before you can kill anything.  I can't speak to the Lancer or the CSMG though, since those are the only two guns the RNG has seen fit to continually deny me.

Yeh, I'd agree with the CSMG being #1. It was a useless pea shooter when I first got it. Now at level X its sort of my go to gun for casters for fast cooldowns, especially for those that are best at range and can cheese prime incendiary ammo explosions. Good for tech/disruptor ammo bursters (MQE) too.

I've got the CSMG at level VI, it's been stuck at this level for months now but it's still pretty amazing at level VI and (in my opinion) the best SMG overall, I'd love for the troll store to see fit to give me a few more lousy upgrades for it though! I think all the recharge weapons benefit the most from levelling up purely for the spare ammo pool.

It probably falls behind the weapons that Cyonan mentioned, as it uses thermal clips, but I'm surprised nobody mentioned the N7 Typhoon yet.

I tried the CSMG at l, it was useless. Now that i have it at III, its ok, i use it a lot on my CollAdept.

Lancer I was horrible, once i got it to III it became pretty good, i have it at V now and love it.

I tried PPR at I and III, still hated it. Maybe if i ever get it to VIII I;ll give it a go.

scorpion I still shred phantoms. 
Scorpion X just does it a bit quicker now with more spare ammo whilst being a bit lighter.

CSMG only has a 25% increase from 1 - 10, which is basically the same as for almost every other gun. PPR has a 34% increase, which is by far the largest change from 1 to 10 out of all the guns.

Guns like CSMG and Lancer "feel" like they are getting more powerful because they get more ammo as you level them up, not because they do substantially more damage.

I cannot WAIT for you to have the CSMG at higher levels. You will LOVE it.

By far my favorite SMG, and probably my favorite weapon overall.

Hands down the CSMG. PPR would be next, but I thought the PPR was powerful from level 3 on. CSMG I didn't start to like until I got it up to V or VI. Now that I have it at X, it's one of my favorite weapons.

i agree . have mine at 8.
its going to be quite a while before any other gun gets better than it.
