Footstep sounds only travel 3m though, if I recall correctly. So if you were to run past an enemy, they'd probably hear you - but they still wouldn't know exactly where you were once you passed outside of footstep range.

[Edit]
Just went and looked at the data - footstep hearing distance is somewhat variable from 3-6m depending on the enemy type."

So how can i get shot across the map while cloaked from any enemy?

Want a video for that?

Because the enemy started its attack cycle and had to finish it, regardless of whether you cloaked or not.

Seriously, at first I thought this was a legit thread highlighting bad design from biower, but now I can see you're just ignorant and complaining about stuff you don't know about/that's lag related.

How about a video featuring you as the only non infiltrator in a full squad?

There's a thread about aggro mechanics (from Cyonan I believe?) that explains this kind of thing.
Hey I'm not saying ME3 is glitch free btw, we've all had our share of wtf moments.

Edit: aggro misspelled

There's a couple of threads above about the AI detection system and enemy attack iterations that you might want to at least skim over OP. The information contained within and the univeral enemy which is lag will explain a lot of your issues likely. Everything else......SPACE MAGIC. :wizard:

Seriously, stop trolling and GTFO, if you have POSITIVE support, then you are more than welcome.

It is players like you, that ****ed "bioware, everyone is camping FBWGG" that we got two re designed vanilla maps, bombers, dragoons, OP phantoms and so on.

It is players like you, so do not even bothing, to take a step back, see where the argument is, and just shouts their opinion for the sake of post count, internet fame or e-penis.

Compare the game now, in it's current state, with how the game was during launch. The only bug that we had on launch were vanguards glitchiung through the map.

As i said above, pick any class against any faction and any map/difficulty and i will pick out several bugs.

Till you have a valid good argument, stop responding.

-Falling through the backdoor FBW
-Never ending drell wurwurwurwur
-Cloak still wasn't invisible
-Banshee magnet hands were worse
-Missile glitch (still happens)
-Invincible player glitch
-Last enemy invincible glitch (still happens)
-Invisible cerberus turret glitch
-Enemies glithed on top the map on reactor (still happens)
-Reapers didn't execute downed players while all other factions they did
-Unlocked kits becoming locked again after switching kits
-ULM not working on SMGs
-Host migration causing never ending extraction wave

And im sure theres a ton more.

EDIT:  Example that came to mind right after i posted... Warp + incin always been bugged.  Yeah...

This game is simply a huge beta test for the next multiplayer.

No..........just no. I get annoyed at the bugs in this game too from time to time. But to say ME3 was essentially bug free at launch is an absurd exaggeration.

Did you actually even read what i said?

Quote me saing it was lag free on launch.......

Ah, now I know how this one made it to Page 2 so quickly.

OP, I don't know what to tell you. It's been pointed out already that your video doesn't show anything broken. I had to read most of the first page to figure out what you were upset about - thought maybe it was the teammate running around but not doing anything.

I'm reading a lot of "MP Forum is the cause of all of life's problems," posts today. I could try and convince you that the Forum is actually partly responsible for keeping support going as long as it was? I could try and point out that most of the DLC wouldn't have happened without the MP Forum? Most of the original bugs wouldn't have been fixed?

This Forum is at the heart of a lot of great stories, and is overwhelmingly composed of good people, who like talking to each other, and helping other people get better at the game, by understanding the game more.

If that isn't enough for you, than you should be playing something else. You're not going to get what you're looking for by insulting the entire Forum.

Basically the OP is saying to not post a quote of exactly what he said and agree with him entirely or GTFO of his thread.

Oh and let's not forget invisible Banshees that still happen.

Weird thing is are people posting in this thread not disappointed that the game lost developer support even if a lot of glitches that have been there since launch still happen?

That's because most of the glitches don't impact gameplay significantly. There ARE glitches that do as such, but they're few and far between.

That, and the game is excellent outside of the glitches. It's like what Bethesda does, they release great games, but they're really buggy, but they're so good that people play it anyway.

I could only imagine the anger of the OP if he played on PS3.

And of course we are disappointed, but for their first MP, they did much more right than they did wrong.

Bethesda games without community mod support would not be as popular as they are now.

Consistent glitches that affect gameplay?
Butt lazors.
Invisible turrets.
Every single glitch that is based off of lag which can screw up every single projectile power and projectile weapon.
I sincerely hope they get better net code in the next iteration even if it means changing the graphics around to make the game less pretty but run like a dream I'd go for that.
Dedicated servers, those could fix the issues.

Point still stands. Bugs. Lots of em. We need Raid. Mecha level raid.
