When I was messing around with the Venom on her, I first used my usuald Spare Clip/ Barrel combo, but it felt kinda sluggish. I changed for ULM & Barrel the next game and suddenly it felt a lot smoother, especially with the reave-bubble-combo. It's might not be much in terms of raw numbers (and in most cases it's obsolete), but in this particular case I found it very useful. Same goes for the AA.

@Leland I like the trick that allows to cancel the 'activate siege pulse' animation by shooting the charged venom. The length of that animation has always bugged me.

I put a Geth scanner on him, Adrenaline III and Disruptor ammo (for Geth and Cerberus, Incendiary for Reapers) and just ran around roflstomping everything. It is hilariously overpowered. Run up to group of mooks while charging your Venom -> cloak -> shoot -> proxy mine -> charge -> shoot -> rinse and repeat. I didn't use ED even once in those games.
That's my build:
Cloak (4): damage
Proxy Mine (6): radius - debuff - damage
Energy Drain (5): - radius - shield drain
Passives: (6) damage - headshots - Damage (HS dmg in case I wanna slap another shotgun on him)
Fitness (5): shields - shield recharge
Gear: Geth Scanner is a must on him. Gives you great survivability and allows you to find enemies faster.
The Venom stagger + Proxy Mine stagger + Geth Scanner + Adrenaline III give you amazing survivability. Every mook is dead within seconds. You can take out entire groups that way. Playing this build against Geth gives me warm fuzzy feelings. It's like a roaring rampage of revenge for all that stagger and stunlock.
Deathsaurer and me were both running the same build in a few gold pugs and the other two players had trouble finding anything to kill. Oh, and my Venom is only at III.
