Tried this bulid today while playing with Rusty. Lots of fun. Although I took  PPR secondary for Atlases, Banshees, Scions etc. BTW is there any important difference between speccing into Hydra and Cobra missiles?

So basically if you spec out of DevMode, you have 21 unspent points that you can spend on the Missile Launchers. It is just a matter of preference whether you spec into Hydra or Cobra missiles, it does not make a huge difference. HML is not essential to the build, but a good asset.

I tried the venom destroyer build suggested by the OP. Nice! Lots of fun, and 75+ kills in my first gold match with the build. The shoulder missile (spec'ed 4a, 5a, 6a) as a light stagger tool was enjoyable to play with.

I recently tried the Venom on the Tsol. I did both the no Marksman build and a basic Marksman no-CS build, and while both were effective, this was a thing that happened with the Marksman build:



I wouldn't even say I'm a fan of the venom, really, but there are times like that when it can have me laughing hysterically for an entire wave.  Lots of fun, through and through.
