NWNVault Problems

I have created a forum called http://neverwinterni...eeforums.net to discuss the NWNVAULT Problems.
I decided it would be wise to take all these discussion to a separate forum to discuss if this problem is permanent with the server being down. If so I would love for the community to provide insight on what they plan to do now and how to continue the building of mods and new content that will be available to all NWN community users.
Please visit the site and provide you insight to this topic. With a centralized location will be able to help other NWN community users as well.
Regards,

I can't open that link on my phone :-(
However, I do invite *you* to join the discussion at the new Vault :-)

The last thing we need are multiple versions of the Vault floating around. You guys might want to contact him and see about working together. Multiple versions of the Vault will just divide the Community further and create mass confusion for new players coming in through GOG and Impulse sales.

With the new Vault up and running, it's only a matter of time before files that have been snagged from the old Vault, begin showing up. Rolo already saw this coming months in advance, so his site will be the new Vault for the community.
Anything created after the fact will not have the content the Vault had, unless Raven went and mirrored the 400gigs of data like Rolo and his minions did already off the Vault.
For consistency sake, whenever it's mentioned - a forum, a new Vault - respond and direct everyone to the existing backup that Rolo has made already.

The thought's appreciated, but this has already been taken care of. The planning for it's been in the works for about nine months, by Rolo Kipp working with Maximus. Discussion about the situation with the Vault should be centralized on the site and in forums that have already been prepared to replace it, at http://neverwintervault.org/.

Temporarily, IGN's shutdown was announced February 21st (look under active projects) www.archiveteam.org/index.phpLord Sullivan wrote...
Is the NWVault really dead? or is it temporarily back up?
The Vault 2.0 people such as Rolo and Painofdungeoneternal are hard at work. neverwintervault.org/
Everything's been backed up and work is currently going on to get the content online at the new Vault.

We also need to keep the vault being run by the actual admins of the vault ( which are Maximus and Rolo Kipp ), and ensure that while the url is changing, the authors content is actually still on a continuation of what they originally agreed to upload their files to. While IGN has been sold, and the new owners have no interest in the vault, the people who actually run the vault have already taken a lot of steps to ensure the vault can survive regardless.

According to the most recent post at Project Q, Raven has apparently scrapped this other project in favor of helping Rolo with the Vault Preservation Project and the new Vault 2.0.
