As others have pointed out already, put it on a TGI with extended barrel, magazine mod and incendiary ammo. Ramp the striker up, then cloak to get the damage bonus for the entire clip. At the end use overload to detonate your fire explosions. Also host, I can't stress this enough. I tried this off-host and half my projectiles exploded in my face and I was still melting everything.

I managed to finish the Resurgence badge with out. 200K points with the Geth SMG instead.

Human Soldier with Adrenaline Rush, use Clip Mod + High Caliber Barrel
Use Barrage or Thermal Clip Gear, use Stability consumable(that's a must) and Rail Amp.
And most importantly: Use Incendiary Ammo IV.
Destroyer of worlds.

Krentinel with striker, omniblade, extended mag, and cryo ammo is quite fun. His ability to soak damage let's him go the whole nine yards. Works great on Gold and good enough on Platinum -- though disruptor or warp or inc ammo might serve you better there.

I tried it on the Juggernaut a while back, specced for offensive Siege Pulses. Throw some Disruptor Ammo on that thing, shoot a group, throw a Siege Pulse in after it and watch the bodies drop.

Use the justajoke with barrage 5, stability 3, ar 3, warp ammo and extended mag with extended barrel. Reave and shoot. Everything melts including bosses. What sucks with warp ammo is you don't get a fun visual... But very effective.

Btw: With Disruptor Ammo shields drop pretty fast and everything gets stunned (including Phantoms) and with Phasic it's like LOL shields. Even Cryo Ammo is kinda ok with the Striker.

Just remember to compensate Recoil and use a tanky kit that can empty a whole clip without dying.
(Human Soldier with AR also gives big damage boost and instant reload)

Any class that has DOT abilities can make a decent weapon better, etc. Apply dark channel or reave or whatever, then shooty shooty.

As for the Striker, I avoid using it simply because of the outward appearance of a known glitch weapon. Also, I've used it before and wasn't all that amazeballs-impressed.

It desperately needs more spare ammo capacity. Otherwise, it;s a decent gun. Don;t expect it to be a powerhouse though.

I actually like this gun. Espcially on some kits (Turians being one of them of the top of my head). ... Though it's been awhile since I used it... That's gonna change right now!

Some guy says it's no good against armour, but since it ignores armour reduction completely (like all projectile weapons), that's one slot open for another mod & ammo power... the other one has to be a stability mod (if you don't have help on this from elsewhere, like a Turian or consumable + Gear) and/or Extended clip. ... Basically why it's better on Turians.

Oh right! The no movement penalty thingy + I'm just doping some Volus runs now. So thanks for the tip on what else to try, since I was wondering just that?

It wins my vote for worst gold gun in the game, awful recoil, annoying ramp up mechanic, annoying sound, small impact and splash radius, mediocre damage.

If the impact radius was larger and it had no ramp up time it would be a fine weapon.

It's a situationally powerful weapon. Its biggest downside is the limited ammo reserve, but it works very well on infiltrators (best on the TGI) if you know how to maintain cloak while firing.

Erm...last time I checked projectile weapons weren't affected by armour damage reduction. At all.

But you are right in that the Striker is not best used against bosses, for mostly the same reason as the Falcon: it's a crowd controlling god. Slap some incendiary ammo on it and bring a class with chain overload. Make things go boom.

it can be very fun to play with it!! Enjoy it despite the relatively low damage:happy:.
