well, she failed, seeing as the majority of sequence 10-11 (I think?) was Connor wondering why he couldnt be as smexy as his dear old dad. the player was probably wondering the same.

You know, I'd like to see a truly doomed romance with a Bishop-type of character. Perhaps the whole point is that he is using you to further his own ends and you don't find out until the final act of the game. It would be surprising, horrifying, devastating, and totally awesome.

I wouldn't mind this, depending on how it's done. I wouldn't want a Death Wish type of person who is out for revenge. However, to have a person who lost a lover/spouse and want to help them heal, in addition to knowing that this loss will be a part of the person for the rest of their life, doesn't sound too bad to me. Again, it depends on how it's written.
