Even worse because it was lazy, the chances of an entire group being bi save for 3.. Is just, lazy, that and there were no gays either, it feels like a lack of real variaty. Feels like everyone is just the same, not unique with thier own personalities, I dunno why I feel like that but I do. ME had these chocies and the characters felt so varied cause some were off limits if you were a certain gender, you could get shot down, instead of it seeming like everyone just swtiches thier sexuality just so you can be with them.
And I didn't mean to offend, just after seeing that some of your team can pair off into couples of thier own, even if you had seduced one but left them, really hurt. That and the fact that the team are all heroes in thier own rights, attractive we can at least assume to each other, I live in fear of losing Fenris to another or another character to someone else and since they are bi, it feels like they have moe options to mix and match.
I respect your opinion, but disagree. I like the character-sexual companions, and only felt that Anders was telling, and can see why maybe one playthrough would fear losing a love interest to another companion, but not all. I never feared losing Fenris to Isabela (granted, I (friendship) romanced him in my first playthrough and I didn't know that they could be together), and when he and Hawke were a couple, he seemed utterly devoted. What I found disengaging was their argument. I almost didn't take him back in the third act ... Wondering why would my strong, confident Hawke have waited on this man ... This dialogue:
Anders: I can't imagine what Hawke sees in you.
Fenris: It is done. Leave it be.
Anders: Well, good. I always knew she/he had some sense.
Fenris: Do not make light of this. Leaving was the hardest thing I've ever done.
Made her want to scream that staying was the hardest thing he never did! I also felt that this had him / the writers overlook that not every romantic relationship is sexual. But taking him back was worth it for the end dialogue and MotA:
Tallis: Are you married?
(If Hawke has a diplomatic/helpful personality) Is that a proposal?
Tallis: It's just you're the Champion of Kirkwall... Big. Important. I don't know.
Tallis: (To a female Hawke) Just... wondering if there is a husband behind the throne.
Fenris: A fine question.
(If Hawke has a humorous/charming personality) Not unless I stowed the body there.

That certainly upset me. Though I understand his views, being a writer too, sometimes you imagine something and you don't want it changed. But dwarven men seem to be interesting, just look at how Bhelen fell for Rica, they have so many possiblites and they are all man..
Perfect for womanly women! ;D
Oh, I know! How could a dwarven commoner put anyone before her family when she had a nephew with so much to gain! I do wonder what happened to her and the baby after the many deaths of Bhelen in other playthroughs ... and yet even at his hardest, Bhelen bought her gifts and she was familiar enough in his home to be recognized by Gorim ... Though their courtship would be morally objectional in most other cultures ... it would make for an interesting read / watch in any form of media. The templar (Alistair) and his self-sacrificing mage (Warden) were a great tragic love story too ... (I say too, because I killed Bhelen so often.)
Which again, in my opinion: is not like romancing Anders. Though being fugitives together makes for a nice RP ending too.
