That's strange. :c I don't remember flirting with her ... I don't think I would have done so intentionally with that playthrough ... I had beat the game before playing the dlc and this would have been the first time I played the DLC on the first day it came out when I encountered the conversation. I played it, MotA, again later at the end of Act 2 just after Fenris leaves you, hoping this conversation I quoted would be different, but it didn't happen at all then, and it was weeks after the release of the DLC ... I dunno.

Lol. My phone really wanted Fenris to be named Debris.

I would prefer a LI that didn't turn into a brooding mess. Although it worked for Fenris, I still want someone with a somewhat cheerier outlook. Therefore, I am not on the Cullen bandwagon because I can only imagine the brooding he could pull off.

My list:
Tons of sarcasm
A charming personality with just the right amount of deviousness
And throw in a slight narcissistic tendency mainly so I can knock him down a few pegs

With that being said, I want a scoundrel.

Not meaning to offend doesn't make it any less offensive. The attitue that a bisexual person would cheat on their significant other solely because they are attracted to both genders is equally stupid and disgusting.

I'm just tempered by past experiences in my own life with bi partners, though my point still stands that it was poor writting to have multiple squad mates doing the bi shuffle just so that Hawke could have sex with everyone.

That certainly upset me. Though I understand his views, being a writer too, sometimes you imagine something and you don't want it changed. But dwarven men seem to be interesting, just look at how Bhelen fell for Rica, they have so many possiblites and they are all man..

Oh, I know! How could a dwarven commoner put anyone before her family when she had a nephew with so much to gain! I do wonder what happened to her and the baby after the many deaths of Bhelen in other playthroughs ... and yet even at his hardest, Bhelen bought her gifts and she was familiar enough in his home to be recognized by Gorim ... Though their courtship would be morally objectional in most other cultures ... it would make for an interesting read / watch in any form of media. The templar (Alistair) and his self-sacrificing mage (Warden) were a great tragic love story too ... (I say too, because I killed Bhelen so often.)

Which again, in my opinion: is not like romancing Anders. Though being fugitives together makes for a nice RP ending too.

I kept Bhelen alive for the sake of leading to some change in the dwarven community, knowing that Harrowmont made them retreat from the world, was enough for me to allow the manipulative prince to keep his throne. 
I support the rich choice of romance endings, since the person you're dating is different with a different life path, there was a different ending for each of them, but having them all be on the run from the law.. 
It felt like just picking between one fugitive or the other.. What if I just wanted to settle down and become Captian of the guard or something simple?
And impossible loves, just were too hard to resist!

But seriously, I'd like a knight kind of LI, like Sebastian minus the religious crazy (and asexuality) and hate for mages. A templar might be interesting, but not Cullen. Not unless he had a xenophobiactemy surgery and serious enlightenment regarding the personhood of other people.

Oh, and this reminded me. I remember the first time I played Origins I was actually somewhat disappointed I couldn't romance Oghren   (no, he is faaaaar away from my taste in men, but I think that romancing him would be utterly hilarious, just think of the dirty talk!)

In truth, I'd like two kind of male LI:

the "Sand" type (in honor to the NWN2 character): sarcastic, intelligent, a bit arrogant and pratical. the portrait of the caothic/neutral. in few words, a male version of Morrigan. or a less asocial Sheldon (the big bang theory) I would really pass hours to try to have a romance with a character like this XD because are those kind of character that "you kill them, or you love them".

the other type, well...a young and fantasy version of Zaeed. I think one thing that really there is too little in the DA world are strong and sexy male. Alistair was ok phisically (I really love having my little Elf girl being with this big, muscular guy) but I'd like to change from the "virgin" guy and a more mature and seasoned male.

more than anything...I would like to have the kind of approach of DAO. where I could trig the romance when I feel it, not when the dialogue are possible once in while!!!

Thinking about it now, maybe a Henry Cavill looking male.. While facial hair and beard? After watching Man of Steel, the idea of him coming to the rescue in armor is a must.

I like both the broody, the virginal, and the lusty types. As long as he's not a "me Tarzan" or a meat head, I am generall open minded.

I really loved Alistair, but never fully romanced him. My "canon" playthrough is a gay male Dalish elf that got suckered by Zevran. He has a mad crush on Alistair, but it is never meant to be I haven't played a female character far enough to actually hop in the tent with Alistair, I think. In DA2, I normally go after Fenris, and sometimes Anders. I can't help it, I like the broody elf, I have self control issues. My Mass Effect playthrough ("canon") is a male Shep with Kaidan, but I vastly prefer Garrus and Thane. Garrus in particular has an amazing romance, in my opinion- he is a perfect mix of sweet and badass, hardened warrior but a softy for the people he cares about. Give me a Garrus port in DAI and I will be a happy person. Thane is, I think, a better version of Sebastian- religious, spiritual, but not pushy about it, a broken heart in his background, but making friends with him and eventually seeing him open up is much better than with Seb.

Not that I will ever romance Seb. I an obsessed with the flirt icon, and with his romance not having a real conclusion, it's not worth missing out on the funny dialogues and comments from the other romanceable companions. I REALLY want to like Sebastian. I love his accent like no other, I actually really like his armor design, and his background. But the religious piety, proselytism, and chastity all are major turn offs.
