I think Bioware did a really good job of responding to the locations we (well at least I) wanted to see in ME3.  All council races' homeworlds were seen, Grissom academy (i read the novels) and Cerberus headquarters were honestly on top of my to see list.

I figured I would write a "to see list" for the new game.
*The Hanar/Drell, elcor, volus, and batarian homeworlds
*The surface of Pavalin
*More parts of Omega
*More parts of Earth, The Texas Megolopolus
*A truly exotic landscape (much like the planets seen in Star Wars Episode III order 66 scenes)
*A mountain/ air people landscape

Any other places?

Nemean Abyss. Tortuga in particular. More Noveria, Sur'kesh and Thessia before the war. Khar'shan as well.

Reapers graveyard. The place behind dead end relay where all dead reapers have been transported. There is a star somewhere but you cant see it behind thousands of dead ships. But are they dead? Who knows.

Leviathans Homeworld. Dead planet without any sign of life and water. Huge craters on the surface. Astonishing amount of hidden reapers eye drones on the orbit.

The place behind the Citadel relay. Citadel Copy from the dark space.

Lawless Drell homeworld with wild drells, sandstorms and abandoned cities.

Surface of the Mass relay. When fleet arrive.

I'd prefer to see all new locations. the ME universe is huuuuuuuuge. and without a good reason, we won't need to visit any of the places everyone has listed so far. we only visited Ilos because the Conduit was there. we only visited Thessia because a Prothean artifact was there.

so unless there's a relevant mission, we ain't going there.

*The drell planet and the batarian homeworlds are pretty much dead/destroyed so there probably isnt a great deal to see there though games do like giving us wastelands so we might get it but I could do without it. I would love to see the Hanar homeworld (maybe some giant atlantis type world?)
*We definately need to see the Turian homeworld and while we are at it Thessia should be explored (the asari homeworld and we saw sooooooo little of it. In fact the part we saw was a temple most asari dont even visit anymore). Palaven and Thessia should be hubs imo
*Ive seen enough of Omega its done time to see other parts of the galaxy
*Yeh ok maybe but just really important fleshed out parts.
*Some fleshed out planets would be nice but dont compromise story etc by expending all your energy crafting a million different exoplanets for us to explore (ie no need for open world multiworlds). Maybe slightly bigger N7 missions taking place in some deep wild jungle, or on a waterworld etc. Use the N7 missions to be creative with respect to the worlds. I.e. less facility raids and more o the world's environment
