After playing BGR and loving it I also discovered the IWD remake as well. When I installed IWD, however, they seemed to share a lot of files, and I let the extraction tool rename the duplicates, adding a (1). Are these two amazing modules compatiable with one another or do I have to disable one or the other?
BGR and IWD remake compatiability?

You always replace when prompted. How could anyone possibly know what small or large changes each of a hundred plus files they each have? Reinstall it properly without duplicates

Huh? I think you misunderstand.the question. Both mods share about 13 files (not hundreds), for example both modules come with tower.bik which is I understand the IWD ending movie. Both seem to run fine but I'm wondering if down the road something might mess up.

If it's all music files, I read that they accidentally included the IWD mod music even though it isn't used in the BGR mod. You only need one copy, and they'd be identical.

If you replace all files when prompted on the installation, you need not ask this, was the point. So I recommend that instead of just hoping for the best.

Do what Eguintir said and always (re)install properly when files conflict. Even if two mods use the same named files, there might be some tweaks in them.

Ok thanks all yah it was the music files.. Didn't know that about them accidently adding the files. These two modules are my first third party modules I've played so I'm unsure about what does what right now.
But yah that would make sense to overwrite the accidentally added music files from BGR with the IWD copies in case of tweaks. Thanks everyone

That's around 120 hours of freeware you have there GPW, hope you get them going and have fun with it. After that, say sometime near Christmas we can recommend another few hours for you

Yep I'm in rpg heaven this summer! I'm so thrilled to be able to play 2 of my favorite classic games in another one of my favorite game engines.
BGR has been an absolute blast so far. My brother and I plan on trying out IWD multiplayer soon, but at the moment we are hooked on BGR

Great to hear!
As Tchos mentioned, I accidentally included the IWD music when I uploaded BGR (can you tell what mod I had installed at the time?
). This should be fixed in Patch 1; sorry for the confusion!
