Exactly, I can't ever remember him carrying a storyline on his own. He always seems to need HBK/DX or Stephanie to sell it for him. Even facing the Undertaker at Wrestlemania, he couldn't even sell that and needed HBK to turn up before it got any real heat.

I don't mind Cena as a wrestler or person. I'm just tired of seeing him and the whole Super Cena thing where no one can beat him. I've been tempted to get the occassional PPV, but knowing a large portion of it is going to be a HHH match and a Super Cena match have put me right off.

He's worn out his welcome, but there was definitely a period of time when he was near the top of WWF popularity and respected by the fans. Just check out this pop he gets returning from an injury back in 2002:

Are you serious? It doesn't matter if he buries everyone else, just so he can look better?

Thats how companies lose ratings and fanbases. If that continues, there won't be anyone to replace him once he leaves, however that happens(retirement, injury, etc etc).

Honestly, he needs to be brought down to a lower level to allow other people to rise. I don't mean have him lose title match after title match like in 2012.

I mean take him out of title matches entirely, and put him in storylines with midcarders(which gives them a boost if they get clean wins against him, which is ANOTHER problem I have- rarely does someone beat Cena without some suspicious or outright blatant excuse for it).

This allows the midcard to be built up, and other main eventers to have a chance at the top.

CM Punk wouldn't be in the place he's in right now if Cena kept winning and winning and winning like he did for that unbearable title reign back in 2007.

I'm Dead Serious. I still want Cena to end that streak. And I'm not saying Cena needs to win every match he competes in...

Recently went to a show and I will tell you The Shield are "horrible" actors. They mess up alot of the stuff and TV helps to hide it. They needed to spnd more time in NXT to work on their stuff.

Attitude Era > all.

This.

I stopped watching WWE for about 4 years now, only watch Wrestlemania now to see if Undertaker will win or lose his streak. I feel he should retire already though....
As for Cena i don't dislike him but, i wish he would expand his damn move set since he is incredibly predictable.... every match i have seen him in is boring imo, he has like what 5 moves max?

John Cena sucks. Sorry, it had to be said. I stopped watching about a year or two ago. The most recognizable superstar other than him is that really white guy. Shamus, I think his name is. Other than that I hear their trying to bring back old superstars to bring the old magic back, but it really isn't working. So sad, I really used to love wrestling. Chris Jericho was way cooler back then too.

yea part timers, Chris Jericho is a part timer, but he said he is only back to put over younger talent. they gave brock lesar 5 million dollars for a 2 year contract and he is seen once in a blue moon. RVD is coming back in 2 weeks...but he is another part timer.

For recognizable superstars they have Kane, Daniel Bryan,CM punk, Randy Borington, christian came back last week, big show is still around and The Rock is going to be on the cover of WWE 2k14 even tho he hasn't been on any wwe shows since April( he is going to be the selling point for that game).

as for the whole cena thing...Blame vince. if someone can make vince money they will get push to the moon.

SuperCena is getting really tiring. They really need to turn him heel at some points, but they seem to care more about merchandises than the welfare of the other superstars being buried by that guy. At some points, they should just get rid of the Diva division, the most of the matches are literally 1-3 minutes.

I'm on a break from wrestling right now, I stopped watching a couple of weeks before Wrestlemania, WWE has a lot of problems, but I think the main thing that wrong with WWE is that they have no competition.

TNA tried but they failed in a big way, about a month ago I tried watching Impact. It was bad, they are doing two of the worse things you can do in a wrestling storyline IMO.

One is making a heel faction with more then 5 guys in it, I think Ace's and eight's has 12 guys in it.
Second is giving that heel faction all of the belts. When I watched they had all but one. Plus there's only 3-4 faces to fight them.

Even with wrestling storyline logic there is no reason for the heels to lose any match or belt, so if it hasn't already happened the heels will split in to two different faction and in-fight for awhile until the faces get some of the belts.

Enough about TNA and how bad I think it is. I hear ROH is good unfortunately where live their timeslot is something like 2 am on a Sunday so until they get on a channel that's willing to give them a primetime timeslot ROH won't be able to do anything to WWE's hold on the pro-wrestling.

P.S Sorry about the rant on TNA in a WWE thread.
