So you drink/eat blood. Big fracking deal. I (and millions of people in Asia) do too.
Ethnocentric bags of dicks.
(Human) placentas are eaten in China as well. Deal with it.
Hannibal Lecter had the same idea.
That and that they went really well with a nice bottle of Chianti.

I'm writing a story wherein a Dragon Age-type vampire appears, but it's not done yet.

Why not? We already have werewolves and Cullen in the game. All we need is a girl who can't show any emotion.

The only thing we still don't have is an idea of how they looks, act or "are" through the Dragon Age lenses. What I'd like to see is a very classy fantasy Vampire, a demon who can easily pass for a man but is at his core an evil being who kills people and drink their blood.
Offcourse, given BioWare's talent with Companions, a Vampire Companion could be an even more interesting point of view, if they don't fall in the "good vamp" boring stereotype.

But not really only if. It'd just be cool. It'd still be cool to have vampires though, I always like lore behind vampires in fantasy series.

That is about as close to vampires as I ever want to see in Dragon Age.

But, I will love it! And why not? If we have got werewolves, borned by a curse, the vampires can born that way too.

The traditional trope I feel is overdone and in previous medieval fantasy games it never felt right with me. Not saying it can't be done I personally enjoy a set of novels that sort of circulate around that era using vapires and damphir. Which is where I find the problem. Vampires seem like something that centers in its own story and not on the fringes of another. There are too many implications of vampirism for it not to be at least hinted at in previous games.
On the other hand I would not be opposed to a cult of vampiritic bloodmages. It fits better within the dragonage lore and none of the hassel of an outbreak of Vampirism.

Bioware making a vampire RPG... that would be... magnificent.
I'm hoping the new IP is set in contemporary times. They've covered the future, they've covered the "past" so I'd really like to see Bioware's take on today. Albeit a little AUey. Cuz vampires.

So it occurred to me that the world of Dragon Age may actually be fitting for vampires. The genre is already circling around Dark Fantasy and we have seen an effective DA Version of Werewolf in DA:O, plus games like Skyrim have already shown that you can add Vampires without turning everything into Vampire: La Masquerade.
So what about meeting some kind of Vampires' underworld community in DA:I? Or perhaps even have the possibility to BE one of them as per selectable background option? I assume that probably DA:I is already packed with the multiple factions at war and the Demon Invasion, but that doesn't mean that Vampires couldn't make an appearence though.
Would you like Vampires in your Dragon Age? Or are you absolutely against 'em?
I would absolutely NOT want vampires in Dragon Age. I don't see how the world is fitting for their inclusion. Dark Fantasy automatically equal Vampires. Nor does it follow that because we've seen werewolves, that vampires should also be included. The ones does not need to necessitate the other.
No. Nononononononono NO. Vampires are so in vogue now that they're everywhere, and they're overdone. Everything doesn't have to be about vampires. Please God no.

Besides, vampires have been done to death the last few years, so unless they come up with some idea that is way far away from the generic vampire stuff, it won't work. I suppose they could have a demon that is based on vampires, maybe.
