Tali if we have to choose but I'm starting to think that if Legion is indeed a party member you at some point hack control of it and it has sort of Shale/Wilheim (not sure on spelling here) relationship where it wants to kill Shepard and the rest of the crew but its programing limits it from doing so, Odd Couple style comedy ensues.

I'm with this guy. Tali was my least favorite character in ME2... thats saying allot cause I wanted to slap Kaiden, but as whiny and annoying as he was he had character... Tali just rambled on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on. I love her race, very cool conecept and look, so the fact she bored me was surprising.

On the other hand, I've only seen a few videos of Legion and he intresests the hell outta me! Plus I suppose I don't have to worry about him dying cause he is really "we" I guess.

I haven't played Mass Effect 2, so I'm not sure, but if EVERY OTHER BIOWARE GAME EVER is any indication, someone will turn on you.

Of course cause your running with a bunch of loons I suppose it could be anyone.

Certainly... you can trust that the Geth WILL turn on you... it is people like Tali you have to watch out for:blink:

I went with Tali my first play-through, which I consider my 'honest' one. But, more enlightened, I choose Legion in later games. I think he'll be more strategically important if ME3 follows through on their storyline.

By the way, I tried to max out my renegade score before I had to make that decision, but didn't quite get there. Has anyone done that yet, and does it indeed unlock the 'red' choice?

Also, I had a pretty rough-looking zombie-like Shepard by that point. Pretty funny wooing Miranda with a face like that. I kept expecting the characters to start commenting -- like, "Ever try a little Clearasil there, Shep?"

they both seem similar imo. legion should be some kind of riffle popping sniper shooting charachter. no complaints on him but he basicly is tali when it comes to powers

Considering Tali is my LI if I am playing honestly, and Legion being my favorite teammate otherwise: it would be a painful decision to make.



But to guess right now, without knowing the exact context is impossible.





If the 'rest' (ie. a conflict among consensus) of the geth would somehow be a threat to organics I'd choose Tali.

But if they were not, and Tali would still be somewhat blind about the need to destroy the geth I'd choose Legion.



Ultimately, though, depends on the context.
