You wake up in a dungeon and have been having experiments on you by a mage. It comes under attack by an organisation of thieves, which enables you to escape. After you escape, one of your companions alongside the main antagonist is imprisoned by an organisation that wants to control all magic. You find you way to their prison, but you and your companion have your souls stolen by the antagonist and his sibling, and you are betrayed by one of your other companions. Your party escapes and you track the antagonists into a deep dark cavernous world. You emerge from this world to the surface to find that the antagonist is attacking an elven city. You enter the city, find him trying to suck the life from a tree, and defeat him, but are sucked into hell alongside him and your party. You defeat him for the last time, and reclaim your soul.

The main antagonist acquires divine power, yet chickens are more deadly than him (they are in fact the deadliest creatures in this game!).
