Hi there:
I know there are some threads comparing Warriors and Mages. But I would really like to read your opinion on who has the best story: human female mage or human female warrior?
I do like a good story in a game (that's why I became a Bioware fan). Besides, I won't probably have time for another playthrough so I'd apreciate your comment here.
Personaly, I love the idea of playing with a female mage, but I've heard the female warrior has a very good story, so let me know your impressions plz.
Note: if some sort of spoiler is inevitable, please alert it before, ok?
Excuse my English and thank you in advance!
Which has the Best Story: Human Female Mage or HF Warrior?

I do like the Mage origin for several reasons - it is an excellent introduction to the way magic works in the Dragon Age world. Magic is also very powerful and oh-so-much-fun to fight with, and it is very difficult to gimp your build. But also the story is very strong.
The Human Noble origin is popular but, I think, a little overrated. I find the story cliched and not very deep. On the other hand the great advantage the Human Noble origin has is that there is a particular ending (rather a popular one) which is available only to this origin. I can't say more without spoilers.
On the strength of story alone, I would say go with the Mage.

It depends on what kind of stories you like.
Mage Origin is good for "fish out of water" (a person in a strange unknown land trying to adapt) and for an oppressed person showing everyone what they can achieve.
Human Noble Origin is good for revenge stories, and stories about duty (either embracing it or rejecting it), and about politics, power, and taking sides.
Human Noble has a strong tie to the scene that is arguably the game's climax, which makes some people think it is the best or most tightly integrated origin. It also most closely follows the usual "valiant noble saves the kingdom" fantasy story, which some people like and some people think is boring.

If you like a fairytale ending, the human noble character comes the closest to giving it to you. The mage can be the most powerful character in game, if that appeals.
As for my personal opinion, it's six of one, half dozen of the other. Neither of them are my personal favourite.

I prefer the opening of the Mage, it gives you a longer opening that is less tedious then others like Dwarven noble or Dalish elf.. There's also more length to it, while Noble human is a bit so and straight forward, you do loose family, but its not so interesting cause you just met them and have so little connection.
No no, in mage opening, you get the works and lots of characters.

Thank you for your answers. I really appreciated your views and started playing as a mage. I just finished ME 3 for the second time and played the whole trilogy for almost two years so I thought maybe I could go with a "less heroic" heroin, if you understand my weird English.
Till now, it's been really nice to put my son to sleep, make myself some tea and relax while I immerse in this strange and interesting world. Thanks!
