You don't seem to have a good grasp on what 'trashy' is.  That would be trashy if she was looking for a cocktail (bullshots anyone? <shudder>)  What she wrote is something that a woman who wants the best genetics for her child to have would do, not what a 'trashy' woman would do.  A trashy woman would have said something like, "WHoohooo!  It's friday boys and the door's open!  C'me on in!!!!"  (A trashy woman with a conciounce would conclude with, "Free Penicilin on the way out!")

And really?  What's so trashy about checking for genetics?  It's the same as eyeballing someone in a bar, then trying to hook up because they're cute...cute being a result of good genetics.  She's gone one step further; she's analyzing ALL the genetics, not just physical attributes.  She's not trying to 'hook up' for sexual pleasure, she's trying to have a baby.  That's far from 'trashy'.  If anything, it's coldly analytical.  And extremely offputting to me, personally.  But not trashy.

She wasn't trying to have a baby. It was an isolated casual hook up, to blow off steam. That's it.

Fair enough.  You're right, it IS subjective.  'Course, I'm not even sure the Pope himself has such a strict definition, but you're welcome to whichever definition you want.  Just don't be shocked when the rest of us sinners disagree

I don't think its so strict. I think strict is more like those crazy parents that call their daughter a **** because she's wearing make-up in junior high.

And if I believed in such things I would no doubt be labeled a sinner....actually, I probably am considered such by bible thumpers. And I'm not saying I've never met anybody in the bar and then never spoke to them again after whatever it is we got into.....I'm just saying I feel that it's trashy.

She wasn't trying to be a single mom. She actually knew about her infertility prior to engaging in the liaisons with men. The Miranda group has confirmed this through tweets with her writer in ME3.

She has needs too like any other woman.

im going to chime in on this... first "a bit trashy" trashy would be getting knocked up and then going after the guy for child support. That is what I would consider trashy. Yea sure she wasn't looking for "love" she was looking for desease free sex,  thus the reason for the medical reports and not going after guys, who used pick up lines, and asked too many questions, and maybe she was going for a kid, and didn't want to have it from a sperm bank. As long as she would not have gone after the guy for money or blackmail. I don't see why not.

There are services out there that you pretty much look up and if you find a guy/girl you would like to bang and they will give you a yes or no answer. Are these men women/ ****s/hoes/man****s?? (ok i admit I don't really know what guys are called in these situations)

I mean so what if she wasn't a virgin, an independant woman like her, I don't think she would be. And I don't see anything "wrong" with that.
