Thane's is still my favorite. Proof that anything within a 12 mile radius can be neck snapped instantaneously by him.

I just wish it didn't include Asari in those instructions.

Why?  Plenty of Asari in need of those techniques.  Nasana, Aria, Benezia, any one of the countless Eclipse mercs.  Liara isn't the only Asari in the galaxy.

Personally, the one that always stuck with me was Hackett's file. A long email from some up-and-coming Alliance Officer who wants to make a name for himself by arresting Humanity's First Spectre... And Hackett gives a two word response:

"Request Denied."

Yeah, instructions for asari is really the best part. As to that list, you should add Samara, and Justicars in general.

All I'm saying is:

Soda made by amateurs who've never made a soda before and who aren't sure what will happen (but untested, yay...) vs a fine aged whiskey taste tested every year.

Metaphors are realistic and always applicable. For shore.

I loved all of it, especially Miranda's. Thought it was funny how straight-forward she was.

But one part not in the terminals really stole my attention when I was leaving and just before Glyph comes up and tells me that he sold stocks before tomorrow's market crash. Never thought I'd hear something like that.

I am a bit like David Niven's character from "The Guns of Navarone" and not just the fact that I too like blowing up enemy equipment I can't use. That same chivalrous attitude that I have with girls applies/would apply  to Asari as well.

(SPOILER ALERT)
When Niven's character discovers that there is a spy among their commando group that as been giving away their position to the Germans, he demands that the person be eliminated, but when its revealed that the spy is a pretty, young girl, he refuses to do the dirty deed. There is no chemistry, he simply won't do it because she is female.

or just a weakness of guys. and there training from there fathers.

"Don't hurt Girls" that kind of teaching sticks with you, also at least in that era, pretty much what "Father" says goes.

Also unless the man is sadsitc, men will generally try to protect women, call it sexist if you want but, its how we been breed to be.

Really? Was the rule "Women and Children First/Only" that was enforced on the Titanic sexist too? Or Chivalrous?

It's sexist.

A man would also protect another man. I would expect a woman to protect women and men too. We have these today, they're called soldiers, police, and firefighters.

"Don't hurt girls" is hilariously outdated and trite.

The "sadism!" argument doesn't only apply to women.

Yes. Yes it was.

Sexism is discrimination or unequal treatment based on gender. That is, by definition of the term, sexist. Whether or not it was a good rule is subjective.

@O Ventus: Just as Legion says that treating all species exactly alike is racist itself, I believe that applies to sexism as well; forcibly treating both genders as if they were exactly the same is not right in my opinion, it is likely in fact a form of sexism itself.

There was a time when us guys were expecting to give our lives if necessary for sole purpose of ensuring the survival of the females, even if we never knew them.

I've killed countless she-mercs, banshees and Phantoms over the course of 3 games. Am I a sexist and misogynistic pig?

Banshee's don't count, they are now reapers. Phantoms are tragically not much better off. As for the she-mercs, I often rush and melee them, hoping in vain that I am only knocking them out and giving them a 2nd chance.Image IPB

But then how should they be treated? Should they have shot that spy even though she was young and cute?

Legion says that anthropomorphizing every species is racist, not "treating them all the same". Treating everybody equally is what Legion was advocating with that statement. Men treating women like men is sexist. Treating people as people is not.. If a man killed your family and has a gun pointed to your head, you likely wouldn't have any qualms about disarming him and likely having to kill him to stop his attack. If the hostile in this scenario were a woman, would you just freeze up and let her kill you?

There was a time when us guys were expecting to give our lives if necessary for sole purpose of ensuring the survival of the females, even if we never knew them.

Yeah, and quite frankly, that point in time was asinine, borderline retarded.

Just when Gregory Peck's character is about to do the dirty deed instead, the girl is executed by her  ex-friend and fellow resistance fighter.
