I've just started (probably my millionth) playthrough, and you know that short little scene on Eden Prime you get when you walk up to the railing to the left of the Beacon and it zooms in on where Sovereign landed? Is there anything else like that in all of ME1? You know, where you only see it if you step up to a certain spot. There's no reticle or anything that tells you it's there, you just kind of gotta find it. I always thought it was odd for them to have one early on in the game...and then never again.
Hidden cutscenes?

Well there's always, the Kaiden+Ash+Shep on the Citadel that's only available on your first arrival, there's also the Destiny Ascension fly by on the citadel, though that's not really a cut scene, but there is some dialog.

There are also many unmarked sites on various planets - Rachni colonies, loot sites and so on.

These little extras are why I fell in love with Bioware.. and why the recent "betrayals' hurt so badly

Seen the cutscene where the ground team stands around Nihlus's body as a sign of respect for a while when they find him dead on Eden Prime? I think you need a charm point or two for it to be triggered. Otherwise you'll be taken directly to the scene with Powell.
Shep is also supposed to be able to dance with his love interest on the dance floor of Flux, if the attraction has grown strong enough.
The consort may give you something that will trigger a different outcome if you find a Prothean site on a certain planet.
And there are some nice dialogues from squad mates in elevators on the Citadel if you let the fast transportation system be. Plus other dialogues near certain objects etc.
@caradoc2000 - Which Rachni colonies are you talking about?

Yeah, you can dance for real. It is ironic that Liara is the best dancer of the lot.Domar wrote...

It has been so long since I've played ME that I don't remember them all, but there is one on Altahe (listening post Theta planet). It has more brood warriors. It is not marked on the map (but the red blips will show on the radar when you get close enough with the Mako) so many people miss it especially since it is not near any map objects. It is a great place for XP though.@caradoc2000 - Which Rachni colonies are you talking about?
There are quite a few of these unmarked objects such as the aviator corpse on Agebinium (the Espionage Probe quest planet).

@caradoc2000 - I see. Seems like I have some things left to discover in ME1 then, despite having played it quite extensively. Thanks for the info.

The cut scene with Nihlus only happens if you haven't used any dialogue investigations about nihlus. It's Ashleys surprise about Nihlus that triggers it. I don't use dialogue investigations about him now as I like that little scene.

@Lhawke - That might be it. I've managed to get to that scene with Nihlus a couple of times but wasn't sure how I did it. At least once I had some charm point(s) when it happened, which I usually don't, and therefore assumed this was needed. I like that scene, too. Thanks for illuminating me on that score.

Never knew about the Nihlus cutscene and I've had the game since 2007. Strange that you can actually miss things by being anal retentive about exploring every piece of dialog that you've heard many, many times before.

One of my favourite hidden scenes is gained by leaving the Therum mission to pick up Liara until later in the game. When you do that she is delusional by the time you get to her and thinks that you're a figment of her imagination.

Actually, I tested this out a couple of days ago, I immediately went back to the Citadel, after acquiring the good Doctor, and up to Flux........................ yup she joined right in, and this was without me even chattin' her up, on board the Normandy.
