My idea?
Remove stuns. In a game affected by lags, stuns can really ruin the experience.

I'd like to be able to put a different ammo type on each of my guns. A third weapon mod slot dedicated only to ammo powers would do the trick. Replace the consumable slot with things like:

DoT Booster: Increase the damage of DoT ammo powers by 5/10/15/25% for one match.
Control Booster: Increase the duration of panic effects and activation chance by 5/10/15/25% for one match.
Impact Booster: Increase direct damage of ammo powers by 5/10/15/25% for one match.

The numbers are just placeholders and would need to be adjusted according to how powerful the mods actually are.

The consumables could also be based on a huge buff to a single weapon (you would select which one before the match), or provide a moderate buff to both. The mods would get more powerful as you level them up, and could also have a damage modifier based on the chosen difficulty if needed.

I would also like something that only the ppl with maxed manifests can get. Like an exclusive gun or character. I think that would be a nice thank you for the countless hours spent playing.

I would like to see some benefit for completing SP. Unlock a character for completing on Normal, piece of equipment fully unlocked for Veteran and a fully unlocked weapon for Insanity.

Or something like this.

An actual store.
Deployables like the Cerb Engineer Turrets, Shield Pylons, and to an extent Hex Shield.
More Racial bonuses like the geth have.

 Customization

1) give players X number of character slots for each race. Let me create my own character from scratch choosing my Armor (helmet, chest, legs,  etc.), Armor colors, and whatever melee attack and evasive maneuver I want.  I want to make my own character,  not have some pre-built unit anyone can just Google How to spec out. I understand certain powers would not be able to be used together for balancing. 

Episodes

1) I'm not sure if episodes is the right thing to say here but some sort of story driven multiplayer would be cool. 

Store redesign

1) The main reason I quit playing for so long was because I would spend credits upon credits and never unlock anything. I am not spending MS points on stupid store credits. This isn't my phone, micro transactions can GTFO. I already spent $80.00 on the collectors edition plus money on DLC. Greed will get you nowhere. 

Food

1) Finally,  if there was some way ME4 could make me some steak while I play,  that'd be great!

It would be absolutely GREAT to have to ability to buy packs in bulk. I don't particularly enjoy spending 40 minutes every few hours buying 1.5 million credits worth of recruit packs. I'd love to have the option to buy 300 recruit packs at once, with just a single purchase.

The vote-to-kick system in this game is really, really bad. Only the host should have the ability to kick people (just like in borderlands). Way too many noobs and trolls are abusing the current system. It must be changed.

More maps.

More enemy factions.

It would be nice if they made the game slightly less dependent on high level equipment which is very expensive to acquire. I'd struggle to play platinum with level 1 and 2 equipment. But level 4 equipment is extremely expensive, level 3 equipment is not too expensive, but still, it would be nice if they did something about this. The bottom line is that equipment is pretty much a necessity for platinum (for me personally), now I'm running kind of low on level 4 stuff ever since I switched to buying recruit packs exclusively.

Perhaps have the ability to pause the game? I'm not sure how this could be implemented though.

Fix bugs/glitches. One of the most annoying bugs involves ops packs and occurs way too frequently - dying despite using an ops pack. Really annoying.

I think they should keep everything else exactly the same. The RNG store needs to stay EXACTLY the same and really shouldn't be changed at all. A lot of people hate the store, but I really don't mind it. I never understood why everyone is always complaining about the store. People want to be able to max out their manifests in a day or two it seems, but I prefer the grind, it's one of the best things about this game, if it only took 100 hours to max out everything, I'm pretty sure people would stop playing the game a lot sooner. If you put enough hours into the game, you can level up your stuff pretty quickly. I'd hate to see them change the way we unlock upgrades. I don't mind spending 600 hours to max out my stuff, I like the prolonged journey, that constant chase.

Now if I really wanted to be greedy, I would ask for even more stuff. More characters. More classes. More powers. More weapons. More game modes (survival mode, last man standing mode, point whoring mode, zero gravity mode, insanity mode for those who find platinum too easy...etc). A larger variety of maps and objectives.

I think this MP has been great, I really wouldn't want to see too many drastic changes, just a few improvement like the ones I've mentioned. This MP has some ridiculous replay value and longevity, so they obviously did something right.

^ Agreed on the "Host booting power" and "game shouldn't be as dependent on single use consumable items" thing. But then what would they use as "filler" to spam us with in the store?

i'd like to see the following in the new game:

- the ability to build my characters.  give me a way to build a character within each class and let me chose powers rather than assigning default powers

- better character customization in terms of how they look...i'd like the ability to make them more unique-looking

- i'd like to see that each weapon available is well-performing in plat games.  don't bother providing many weapons that most players avoid like the plague because of their poor performance

- bigger size maps would be welcome with more players being able to play together in one match

- let me play on the enemy side in the multiplayer

- have random spawns on each map where some additional weapons are dropped off...the weapons can be used one time and once the ammo runs out, they have to be discarded

- if bioware brings back such things as atlas mechs to the new game, it would be great if they were available for use in the multiplayer

- do something with the rng store...it takes way to long to get the manifest completed.  it makes playing the game feel like a grind

Massive character customization options including armour upgrades like we had in the single player ME3 campaign, loads and loads of maps, a hell of a lot more objectives than we currently have, more enemy factions, more environmental interactions, long term developer support, user created maps and content (like in Starcraft 2, TF2 etc). More hosting and joining options like the choice to join mid game or join a lobby, the ability to check the other players in the lobby have medi gels etc. End this P2P rubbish and have dedicated multiplayer servers to put and end to LAG. Invincibility for a few seconds after you've medi gelled. Options to tweak and fiddle like hell and a biotic character that has both reave and warp :-)

First Person Mass Effect? Bleeargh :sick:, you're on your own with that one. Looked waaaay too much like Halo for me.


For people spouting off about having more character customisation, what if they allowed you, say one "slot" for creating a custom character? You'd be able to customise that kit from the ground up: race, gender, class, powers (within reason. They'd have to use a point tally system for this or something), and even armor/appearance customisation. For all intents and purposes, this created kit would be your avatar. You coould use other kits that you unlock, and some will undoubtedtly be better (I doubt they'd allow custom Juggernauts/Warlords or other game-breaking abilities), but something about being able to make a kit truly yours sounds like it'd be a feature everyone would love.

- Other modes besides Horde Mode (Co-op?)
- Give points to individual players for doing helpful things that don't necessarily entail killing enemies (i.e. revives, devices, delivering the pizza, volus shield boost, etc.)
- Expand the number of possible players in a match to something beyond four.
- Destructible environments.
- More character customization options.
- More/different objectives.
- Hanar, elcor, and/or yahg kits
- Map customization options.
- More diverse enemy factions to fight.
- Tie MP more closely with SP (but have an option to shut that integration off completely if a player does not do MP)
- Vehicles/mechs or the ability to hijack enemy vehicles/mechs.
- Increase the drop rate of UR's.
- Limit the amount of glitches better.

C'mon!
Make it a TPS, add the stuff learned with ME3's MP and the game is golden (There is a Mass Effect mod for Battlefront, while it needs a lot of polishing, it's surprisingly good)

The idea of a downloadable MP-focused game which is apart from the main series is something I've always liked, this MP is too limited because it's tied to a SP campaign, standalone has a lot more chances to expand and improve over time.

give different races their base attributes (health/mass 'n such) but let us choose what class to make them and mess with the powers.

This is my point:
I'm not talking only about PvP, while I won't deny I'm a fanboy of foot-vehicle combat games, I also enjoy coop games. What I was trying to say is quite simple, ME4 should not have MP, instead, the MP should be a game on it's own and be connected to ME4 on system similar to GaW.

The worst part of ME3's MP was the lack of modes and limitations, if it's made as a standalone game, it could not only had PvP, but also PvE, CTF, etc. and even letting us play in different "Eras" like Prothean War, Reapers or Post-Reapers without having to explain anything because there's no real story on the game (Of course, I'm not talking about mixing eras, Protheans vs Cerberus feels wrong :lol:).


Look how big this MP has gotten in a year and it's just a simple mode. What if it's an independient downloadable game? It could be a lot bigger and even support stuff like custom maps or bots for Coop/PvP.
