I have been playing for 46 hours into the game now and I cannot complete the quest to gain the aid of the dwarfs in Orzammar. I have beaten the proving to gain Harrowmonts Support but the quest said I have failed. Also it says to talk to Vartag for Behlins support and it will not let me talk to him. I have completed almost every sidequest in the game so far thinking that it will change the status but it has not. I have read some walkthroughs on the game and I have followed their instuctions but it still will not let me advance forward in the quest. This is the only thing I need to complete to go on any further with the game. If you can let me know how to fix this or maybe there is a glitch in the game please let me know as soon as possible. My gamer tag is FV Supreme14. I really would like to finish the game. Thanks

I had the same problem with my game, im still trying to find a way around it. i dont know about you, but i chose to go help both and not choose to side with behlin or harrowmonts, in doing so i think it wont let me into behlin bcoz im with harrowmont but also wont let me see harrowmont because im with behlin, i think vartag is suppose to give you the key to the royal estate where behlin is, i think, causing the game to lock us where we are and not allowing us to go any further. Cant cancel the quests for the other person to :(. i have done what you have and done everything i can and no good i have even tryed stealing off guards to see if ill get the key. they are still in the assembly. If i find a way around this ill let you know. It would be ashame to start again and not finish after so far.

This happens if you decide to run down both dwarven sides quest lines at the start of orzammar instead of just focusing on one set.

Reload an earlier save - if you dont have any then you were living dangerous anyway considering the 360s love of corrupting save files :P

Wow. So there is not way around it. My last save before then was in the 21st hour of play. I really dont want to lose all the other stuff I did in the past 25 hours. Is there no way to go on without restarting?

I use about 30 save slots per character (which is the max I think) so that doesn't happen to me. Remember to save often.
