Hi all,

I use the camera mod and often play in quasi first person.  Playing this way when in forest settings the bare tree trunks up to the sky look a little jarring... Anyone know if a mod exists that changes the bare trunks to proper tree models with foliage and/or a canopy?

Pls let me know!

There's plenty of them. Aside of following Fester's advise, you could go for something very simple, like DLA's canopied forest, or something a lot more elaborated, like Biorural and Bioforest. It's all about what you're looking for and how involved you want to get with it.

These trees have foliage without destroying the walkmeshes of the original tiles.
  
Since these tileset overrides use the patch directory your override folder won't get cluttered with hundreds of files and you can decide which tileset overrides you want.

hmm... the skyboxes from bioware are not designed for a FPS view. The top texture is not how it should be...

There is also a forest addon called "fdo". its a forest hill addon. The foilage is a bit yellowish for my taste but it should be easy to just rework the texture to your own preference. The hills he added are also the best ones anyone did for the forest btw. They are much more detailed!

If you know a bit about modeling yourself you could try to implement projectQ and _six trees from their different tilesets into the bioforest w/o screwing up the walkmesh to much.
